Don't know about that. What does Erin currently have going for her? Her biggest contract seems to be a towel company (they make NFL and NBA merch) and that's about it. I don't think Erin is expensive at all.

I think it has to do with agencies trying to promote their clients. A lot of award shows operate on the same principle. Also I suspect that SI invests money for promos etc. in advance so they have more time to prepare for ROTY announcement. Kate Bock win was made IMO as an attempt to breathe a life into her career but that didn't pan out. I mean, they are lying about her age, desperately trying to up her career but it hasn't really worked.

Well at least we can be sure that she isn't boring at barbecue parties.
