I don't think anybody considered a defeat by more than one goal, especially considering the history of all our previous matches. I watched the goals and what can I say, our defence was not there at all, and the goals were kind of sloppy. Damn Chelsea and their deep defensive counter-attacking style. But I guess the flaws of our tactics of playing a pressing game upfield were exposed, much like how Milan exposed us last year. In all honesty, Everton only got 4th because everytime they lost, Liverpool, Middlesborough and Bolton all lost as well. They were ever so lucky that everyone else self exploded. I like Phil Neville. At least he's better than his brother Gary <_< I don't know why Gary is even playing in Manyoo. He's only playing in the English side because he plays for Manyoo and there aren't many other options around, but that being said, I'd rather slot Danny Mills into the right back position than see Gary playing there <_<
