We have the most clean sheets and we've conceded 8 goals, 4 of them to Chelsea in our 4-1 defeat. Liverpool had a pretty bad start, even though we were undefeated we didn't get the 3 points. It wasn't until after we lost to Fulham and Crystal Palace (and reverted back to a 4-4-2 formation) that we started our streak. As much as I'd hate to admit it, I think Manyoo have to be the second best team domestically and they're 6 points ahead of us now. Even though their performances and players are questionable at times, they manage to get the results. Rooney has definitely been their saviour throughout the season. Without Rooney, Manyoo would not be second and getting the results. That guy is magic and since Keane has left, Rooney has been playing off the striker, his favouite position, and he has held even more influence on the pitch. With no European adventure, they can concentrate solely on the Premier League and FA Cup and challenge Chelsea. I think Bolton and Spurs are doing quite well also and they'll definitely be up there competing for a Champion's League spot, if Arsenal don't manage to turn things around.

If you've bothered to watch Liverpool play games recently you'll know that we've kicked into gear, and are playing attacking football balanced with good defence. We have passes flowing and we're stroking the ball around the field, and we're outplaying Arsenal at the moment in terms of quality, though I do concede that we are still nothing compared to Arsenal at the top of their game. Still, maybe you should watch a few Liverpool games And of course, how could we all forget Henry and Pires' attempt to entertain us all? It is entertainment when you're 5-0 up, it's called arrogance at 1-0 however I certainly had a good laugh watching them try to replicate a piece of genius, but instead messing it up and making it look like crap. Their biggest signing was Reyes and he was great in Spain. He was amongst the best left mids/forwards in La Liga, back then before he moved. He's big enough for Madrid to be constantly linked with him. Hopefully I've answered your question And what's with the financial aspect of things? What issue does that address? And yes, Arsenal are still in with a chance of getting the top spots. However, you seem to be forgetting that Arsenal are suffering a big loss of form at the moment, and they're losing a lot of their away matches.

He's treated like a king at Newcastle. Newcastle play well when he's on the field and they play crap when he's injured (which is almost every away game conveniently). But as someone said about his hat-trick against the Hammers (I read this on soccernet) 'the only thing he contributed to the team were his 3 goals' He doesn't defend or pass, set-up or anything else. All he does is bag goals after 20 attempts

mixed bag of treats. some don't care, some think he's a traitor, others still worship him. Personally I don't really care 'cause he was thinking about his future and I've heard both sides of the story from management and owen, and we couldn't afford real's asking price. then there was a bit of a miscommunication between him and rafa sorry the story goes I still think he's a good player and I don't care if he's not playing in red (although I would prefer it) but he's definitely not a traitor in my eyes. He done what he had to for his career. Under the circumstances, it was difficult to do anything else.

Most people who said this can't appreciate Chow's genius: nonsensical humour extravaganza. Therefore, if you have a sophisticated sense of humour, youn will feel very insulted watching this movie. It's not even that. Just watch his earlier films. They were much better in every department. and I watch Family Guy THAT'S non-sensical

Jack Black just doesn't suit the role. I think the human characteristics in Kong were necessary though, as it allows the audience to feel and empathize with Kong and all he goes through. If he was truly ape like, the feel good factor and the relationship between Ann and Kong wouldn't have been as good, which probably would've taken away from the movie as a whole in the end. All that being said, I still don't like what they did

I was wondering how they got Kong into the boat as well. Also, in a land where everything is 20x bigger, how come the dinosaurs are still the same size? :lost: I don't think they were too convincing with regards to the 1930s context, and they tried to incorporate the audience into the dialogue by including some colloquial phrases, which I thought were rather bad taste. However, they did the island scene very well and the graphics were great. *cough* LOST *cough* I didn't like Jack Black, cause he wasn't convincing as far as anything went. For me, he had to be the biggest disappointment and he spoilt the movie. His character could surely have been played by someone better. They added on a fair bit of footage, and I think they stretched and dragged the plot to its limit. They really didn't need to include some of that stuff in order to build the characters, as there was really nothing too out of the ordinary about the characters. I think you're right Jimmy, when you say they portrayed the relationship between Ann and Kong very well, but I don't like how they personified Kong. They gave him too many human characterisitics and that also spoilt it for me. The worst bit was at the end when Jack decides to say "it wasn't the planes...it was beauty that killed the beast" DIE JACK BLACK!!! :anger: my bladder still wants revenger :knives:
