She's fine. She might want to get where she was in 08, which she is only about 5-10lbs away from. But Sav is correct, this was far from her first photoshoot with VS, or anyone for that matter. She shot 2-4 underwear/lingerie campaigns with VS BEFORE this makeup shoot, and she had another underwear/commercial shoot the next day after that shoot...plus her nomad shoot, and the comeback video was shot back in late March/Early April. I think what Adriana is dealing with now are vanity pounds more than anything.

Adriana or Miranda. In hopes Miranda will wear it. But well wait and see, I'm 99.9% sure that they won't give it to a non angel. I can see Candice opening the show but I'm sure she won't get the bra. So I'll stick with my choices

VS is so famous for Model overuse, they didn't use to do this. When Gi first started modeling for them, they didn't overuse her, same with Adriana and same with Ale. In the beginning of their VS careers they were slowly involved. Now they just throw these girls in and make them on everything, which is why I think people learn to not like them....it's awful. It's def overexposure, and shoving someone in the public's faces isn't going to work, it's going to backfire just like it always has.

Candice has a few new campaigns with clothing and underwear coming out so keep an eye out! More towards clothing, which is kind of different for VS to base a campaign off of clothing

That's not the cut i seen hmmm the cut I seen was shorter with just Doutzen and Rosie, but then again it's like Adriana's announcement video was cut to pieces and I've seen two or three cuts of it..ugh wish they wouldn't remix the shit out of these things. You're going to laugh and laugh, just like you laughed and laughed last year when you proved us all wrong and Adriana did, in fact, host/participate in the VSFS? Because, of course, Adriana's "appearance at the fashion show as a host or taking part" was "100% confirmed" by your sources. Stuff can fall through if you noticed in an article Ed actually asked her to come and participate and do what they originally wanted her to do, but my guess is she wasn't able to because she was bedridden because of preclampsia. Anyway, stuff like that can fall through. Heck Ale, Izabel and Adriana shot a secret embrace commercial back in 06 that they never aired...they do that about 2-3 times a year. So like everything shit happens, but stuff like the fantasy bra doesn't fall through, they select and plan for months on it. But like I said laugh and laugh and laugh, because THIS can't fall through unless someone else gets preclampsia lol. I've noted (as well as Sav) several things, and they all come through, but do we get credit...nope. But this time at least we'll get a good laugh at people. Two things to move on though. Like I said there is a really great facebook surprise coming up, that I think some models fans will enjoy I believe it was shot a couple months ago in NY. The person I speak too who works backstage at the who let's me know every year who will wear the bra way in advance (about July) should be able to tell but people will blah blah it away. But like I said come in September when a formal statement is released I'm going to laugh and laugh and laugh for days. Also people give up on the it's only June crap. I prefer Miranda to get it too. Like I've said before, yes it took a while for Adriana to get it...but in 08 it was obvious she was going to get it with the launches and money VS was putting into her, the SAME thing they are doing to Miranda and Adriana now. Exact same pattern (Like I've said forever VS is totally predictable) but with Ale they push her more and more each year and she never gets the bra and she really doesn't have any press hounds in front of her (Like Dri did with Heidi and Gisele) so with her getting as much press every year, her not having really anyone that important in front of her I don't see it happening. It's like '08 everyone swore up and down it was her year to open the show...did she? No. Did she deserve it that year? Yes. But they gave it to Adriana for a second year in a row, VS is predictable. I'm not saying Ale is 100% not going to get it but if I was breaking it down and noticing VS's pattern, who they've invested money into this year, and who they are pushing it would be Miranda and Adriana both at 45% each and Ale at 10% of getting it. Pattern, Pattern, Pattern. As for Candice, she's to new, and she's not a contract angel (KK was the only exception and that was years ago) I don't think Candice has even a borderline chance of getting it when she will EASILY be outshined if she does. BIG TIME. Time will tell, but the girl who is wearing the bra already knows (because they'll be shooting it very soon) So hopefully news will be leaked and we'll know by late July/Early August with a formal release in September

LOL the model has no choice in getting what the bra looks like at all dear. It's luck of the draw. They have the concept down, and drawn before they even pick a model they then pitch it to VS and hear what Charlotte and Todd have planned for this years VSFS and go from there. Which from what I hear might be in Vegas this year. I agree I think models who get it multiple times are unfair to the other models, I do. Doutzen or Miranda should get it, as for Ale...I feel like if they wanted to give it to her...they would have a LONG time ago. Each year they push her in our face more and more and more and it's like WE GET IT YOU LIKE HER! lol But they never give it to her, I don't see it happening I just don't. I could be wrong but eh. I agree...but dear They shoot it in late May-1st week of June...so I don't think Rosie will get it. You have to look at who's been in NY, who is their biggest seller now, and who can market it well enough. The reason Adriana didn't get it for so long is because she was behind some major front runners Heidi and Gisele...heck no one really stood a chance beside Selita and KK once who were both bringing in tons of press the year they did. They are throwing tons of money into Adriana's comeback and Miranda's exposure. Both were in NY at the time they shot it this year, and both can bring major press this year. Like I said I'd bet money on it being on of them. Also besides KK, I don't see VS giving the bra to a non-angel...plus considering. They've basically known who's going to wear it for about 2 months know because the first fittings were then (again conveniently when both Miranda and Adriana were in NY shooting with Russell...but yet we got no pics...and he always posts pics) and now last month or this week they'd be shooting it. So you can basically count Rosie out on that. Like I said I don't care...the bra has went down in value, receives little press, but it will be funny as hell if one of them gets it because I for one am going to laugh and laugh and laugh. As long as Dri is in the show I really could give a damn...because we all know it doesn't matter who gets the bra, or opens the show. It will be the Heidi show. We all must repeat that to ourselves.

Lol at kk and selita. Counting Adriana out because it's recent doesn't matter hence Heidi getting it 1999, 2001, 2003. Like I said I'd say Miranda or Adriana. They shoot it in May-June, my guess is it will be Miranda or Adriana this year. Both seem to be the front runners for it. Miranda has been pushed a lot by VS recently, and with Adriana returning and shooting some major campaigns and hosting for Swarovski (which is associated BIG time with vs) both are I think in front for the bra. Also both girls have been super busy with VS this last month in NY, more than the other models which is the right timing for the bra to be shot. (I'm not basing this off of being a fan, I'm doing it from who has been in NY, VS's track record, and the fact both girls have been getting big time projects from VS recently) They shoot it in May-June It's done by July, and sometimes the model will say by then We usually get a formal announcement by September/Early October. I'm hoping we go back to the 2003 style of bra though, it was the most expensive and the most beautiful in my opinion. Before they started making them part of the bra (via 2006) I'm curious to see who designs it this year, I hope they go back to Mouawad, as he seemed to design the best bras.

In the last 4 weeks. She's shot 2-3 Big time VS campaigns 1-2 VS commercials 3-4 catalog shoots 1-2 Beauty Campaigns Hmmmm..... People can think all they want that she's not going to be a regular...but it's simply not going to happen. She's signed to VS until 2012, Beauty contract until 2014, which means they'll resign her Angel contract for another 5 years...yea she's not going anywhere. They haven't signed a new angel since Doutzen, if they were thinking about getting rid of their biggest money maker (besides Ale) they'd be doing some damage control. It is said within the walls of VS (I speak to People can wish and wish and think and think she's going somewhere but she isn't...far from it. She holds one of their biggest contracts, she's one of their biggest money makers and after the huge uproar they got last year from her not being on the show (BIG uproar) she isn't going anywhere soon. As for her "double chin" and body. Well if you look back at Candids all the way till '03 she had a "double chin" I wouldn't even call it that. I'm very thin, and if I laugh or pull my face in like she tends to do, I can have that same appearance. Doesn't mean I have one, at all. People say she looks younger, because just take a glance at her Nomad photos, her comeback video, and the video that is in my avator. She's looking younger and fresher, and besides this event, she has. She had one bad event, it does happen from time to time. Fashion people are fawning all over (VS BIG time) Russell James even said she looks better than ever and VS is happier with how she looks now more than ever. Since giving birth she looks younger, and fresher. Heck, she's in town for when they usually shoot the fantasy bra, and with VS basically giving her everything right now...and her doing this event....points to her getting the bra (Swarovski and VS are tied together, they work together 98% of the time) Since she hosted this event, and never really said what it was for, has been in town right as they are getting ready to shoot the bra...I wouldn't be surprised. As for her body, I love Monica...but Adriana in that editorial is NO WHERE near the size of Monica...Adriana's breasts were bigger (which can make any woman look bigger, but if you look at the rest of her body she is about the size she is currently...maybe 5lbs different. Also the editorial was shot in late Feb, early March, several months ago...and she hadn't gotten the weight off yet. According to Russell (I emailed him, he says she's as small as she's ever been...and he's been working with her since about 2000) So people hope, pray, beg the Lord she's leaving, or not getting as much work...but she's actually booking more work, she's got 2 HF campaigns coming out, a few more HF projects, and VS is basically using her for everything right now (which will all premier after the Semi Annual Sale) She isn't going anywhere

The girls (Angels) can also have two contracts. Alessandra and Adriana both hold big Angel contracts but also hold Victoria's Secret beauty contracts, so they get paid for both. (Adriana signed a beauty contract with them in '08 after they offered her a bigger contract than Maybelline was willing to offer, so she took it) Beauty contracts can include Makeup, Perfumes and Hair products so if an Model has an Angel contract and a Beauty contract she's making quite a bit from Victoria's Secret.

It clearly states she was signed as an Angel in 2000 after the Cannes Fashion Show...Maybe you heard May of 2000 (that seems awful early, but I know it was either June/July of 2000) Ed Razek, Monica Mitro, Russell James, Jeff Madoff and several other people have stated she was signed in 2000. Also Adriana was not a contract girl for 1 year...VS doesn't even offer contracts like this it's 3 or 5. Simple. Also I say it again this is in the video "Adriana's performance in the south of France elevated her to Angel status at Victoria's Secret" Aka summer of 2000. She was mainstream by 2001, which is average for an angel. As for sending her home...no. He then continued to say (if you watch the video above) when the camera came on she just grew up. No Adriana began to work for the company in 1998, tried out for the show in 1998 but was told she was to young, she continued to work for them in 1999 when she scored her first commercial, and shot her first swimwear campaign for them, and in 1999 did her first fashion show for them in Feb.(when the shows use to take place) Then in 2000 she was made an angel after the show in Cannes, and started filming more and more commercials and campaigns and more frequent in the catalogs. In early 2001, she was mainstream she had really started "appearing" as an angel, though she had been one it usually takes about 6 months for a girl to really be seen by the public as an Angel (hence Miranda, Doutzen and others) As for Isabeli, I think it was just the card she was delt. No one really had a problem with Dri, or KK but to be honest neither looked that young either. Isabeli tended to photograph younger so it might have been more noticeable. Who knows. I do know now they won't allow anyone under the age of 18 do the show, simply because when CBS overtook the show in 2002 (use to belong to ABC) they told VS that the girls had to be over 18, hence why Emanuela wasn't in it for a couple years.

Beside Adriana who was 19 at the time, it's all the ages of the girls when they became Angels. Most were several years younger when they appeared in the catalog for the first time, or the runway. The "Angels" concept has only been around since 1998.

As previously stated commercials don't prove/confirm nothing. VS has put non angels and etc in their commercials for years, heck Ale was an Angel in 04...and she wasn't in the VS Christmas commercial? Does that mean she wasn't an angel...esp when they put other models in it??? Also if you want me to personally email/contact Jeff Madoff or one of his assistants asking why Adriana wasn't at the '01 shoot on that shoot I'm sure he'd be glad to respond, he usually does when asked questions...he's worked for VS for years, and is actually one of the ones that said she was signed in 2000 when I asked once...huh. (I've only emailed him once, but his team is usually very helpful) Also if you WANT to base things off commercials, she was in the '01 What is Sexy commercial (which was aired at Christmas as well) and if you want to use that loose and unreliable information on angel status by commercial (which not a good idea) this means she shot it in the summer of '01...so she def was an angel then and if that thing you call credits...then she should have been there...like I said using that, and commercials over a special that states specifically is really shaky and unreliable info. Heck she was the ONLY angel not in the very sexy makeup ad, didn't mean she wasn't an angel. Goodness, I mean Ed has said it in interviews, it's been in articles and interviews about her and about VS, and it was in a SPECIAL ABOUT THE ANGELS. Adriana was signed in 2000 Right after the Cannes film festival, it's been said in articles by Forbes, Victoria's Secret, Execs by VS, in several VS specials it's been mentioned..it's obvious. To me a special that clearly states that, where VS execs took part, it's been stated in articles and in her multiple biographies and such, or we should trust a Christmas commercial when Angels have been excluded from them before. Like I said Ale was signed as an angel early 04, but she wasn't in the Christmas commercial does that means she couldn't have been an angel? Seriously. Aww poor ale she wasn't in the 04 Christmas commercial her contract Probably wasn't real (chuckles)! You can do that with anything...why was KK given the bra in 02 when she wasn't an angel, and Gisele, Adriana, Heidi, and Tyra were...no one knows why VS does the things they do, they're unpredictable. But when it comes to contracts and speaking about them (when they do because it's very very rare) they are right on the money. I'm going to take a special on VH1 profiling the angels, and the execs speaking about each girl more credit, sorry. Also I would hardly call what you posted "credits" by any means. ESP when later on in the show, they profiled about 12-15 models. In no particular order. To me if they were crediting the angels, the angels would have been in order....like they always have been when they have gotten credited. Using that "credits", that was filmed in late 2001, aired in late 2001...so she basically wasn't signed until 2002? I think not. Credits to me are scrolling names like they started in 2005, why would if they considered those credits, would they not have them then from that point on until 2005. Honestly I can't see how it's not completely obvious. Ed has said it, Monica has said it, Russell James have said it...all that she was signed in 2000. I think I'm going to take tv specials, and VS's execs and Russell's word over what someone might think as "credits" Also keep in mind most Angels are signed a year before they are really even introduced as Angels, Marisa was, Doutzen was, Miranda...all were signed and about 6-9 months later they were "introduced" as Angels. VS has never right away introduced an angel. Anyway, I'm not going to argue over something as meaningless as when she got her Angel contract...when the info is everywhere, it's been stated on tv specials, VS execs, and Photographers have confirmed it on TV, and in articles.
