^ All of these things you rattled off are likely quite true and quite lovely, but it does not preclude the possibility of Herman and/or Candice having their cake and eating it too. Time apart is time apart, and things happen. Brazil is home to some of the most incredibly beautiful women in the world. Ditto the US obviously. A bit of “freedom” does not negate the fact of a real relationship. It happens quite often, irrespective of personal feelings on such behavior. I say again, none of us know Herman or Candice, nor or we with them 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.

And yet I’m the one always taking heat for conversations that go astray and don’t directly involve Candice Either I won that battle, or someone needs to define the rules of this thread. Either way, people (Divine) need to make up their damn minds Men and women both have their vices. Neither sex is innocent in the great game we all play. None of us know Candice or Herman personally. They may appear to be the perfect couple, who are totally committed, but maybe not.

^ As this has been beaten to death, this is my final observation. I’m not sure how normal having a marriage proposal shot down multiple times is, or what that purports to show. As you said, we have no idea what goes on in the relationship of two people. However, Candice constantly saying “no” can be taken to mean something. More and more people are foregoing marriage and settling for domestic relationships instead. Many people just like to keep that degree of freedom and not entangle their lives and assets (she is worth $10 million at present). Additionally, Candice may not want to marry and start a family until she reaches her thirties. Many, many people feel this way. Lastly, we assume Herman is “the guy,” as they have been together for so long, buy maybe her reluctance is a recognition that things do change. I just want her to do what she wants to do, and on her on terms.

^^ Herman has already been turned down before? I want Candice to do what she wants to do. If she wants to tie herself to Herman forever (a huge step), then so be it. However, if she wants to maintain her freedom and remain in a relationship that is of her choosing, I’m all for it.

Which is why Candice has to be respected even more. Given her beauty and status, she likely receives offers from men of great wealth from all over the world. That she chooses to be with Herman instead of some athlete, actor, or businessman is a credit to her and him. I remember her being rumored to be with Kanye West a few years back. As it turned out, Kanye was just hot for her and desperately trying to get her number. I’m sure he didn’t care about Herman, but Candice sure does. I think Herman knows that he cannot be jealous when it comes to Candice, as that would likely be the quickest way to lose her. If I am not mistaken, they have been together since she was like sixteen? If she wanted someone else, she would likely have moved on by now.
