I live like 1 hour away from the NYC itself and I go there many times, but I really wish I lived there, its such an amazing city and so much to do.

really??? Walking for me is the best aspect about the city. You dont need a car to get to any place as you can walk or take the subway and on each and every street there is so much to do, its brilliant. But yeah in the summers it can get too much, thats why the best time is to be there in the Fall or Spring.
