If Grace did get promoted, I can’t see VS not delaying that announcement given their public perception right now. “Look, another thin white girl to go along with the other ten!” I love Grace and want her to be an Angel, but it would truly be the worst PR move VS could make right now. And man, they really do need to diversify their Angel line up- there are a lot of beautiful models of colour that would be better Angels than the girls they have now and it would go a long way for them. Even properly announcing Ming and Sui to the American market along with Grace would be a smart move.

I think a monthly digital catalog would be a good balance for them, with maybe 3-4 physical catalogs for special collections- ie) Holiday(Nov), Valentine’s(Feb), Swim(June), and then maybe another for the remaining quarter of the year.

Kelsey has been hanging out with Sara as well. I doubt they would use her for Pink when she’s already booking mainline campaigns.

Actually she was in town. Casting started Aug 22nd. (And that outfit looks like a casting look.) But I think it’s unlikely she made it if she did go, going by the choices they’ve made so far.

This is just laziness at this point. They’re two of the brand’s spokespeople, look nothing alike, and they spoke directly to this magazine.

I was actually thinking about his “selling a fantasy” comment today, and mentally rolled my eyes at it again. You’re selling bra and panties. The show is an hour long commercial. Just seems like bad business sense to “speak your mind” when you’re trying to sell a product to some of these women. Also...I’m prime VS demographic and I can say that very very few of my friends have any interest or respect for VS. Most of my friends don’t even watch the show- they’re more likely to be making fun of it. They all love Rihanna’s Savage line, and Adore Me and Aerie over VS, and sure, VS can keep selling this “fantasy” but it’s not going to make them money if they don’t adapt.

Just an update, since the show has taped she's gained 55K followers. I'm very interested to see how she does after the airing.

I’m not going to say whether or not I personally think Ed should step down/be removed for his comments, but I will say I can definitely see it as a possibility for damage control if this continues to gain traction.

The models involved themselves, they’re fully allowed to have an opinion on the matter. Given Kendall’s own personal history with Caitlyn, I’m not surprised she commented. I do think it’ll be interesting if she’s invested enough to turn down the show next year/if VS invites her back.

They used Solange Van Doorn in a recent campaign video. I swear there also used to be ecomm pictures of her on the site but I can’t find them now. Solange has also had a Fenty x Savage campaign and walked their show.

Anyone who speaks German willing to translate, or at least give the gist of what she says?
