Well the industry loves Karlie and they're in charge of her paycheck so unless you want to go to school, get a degree in marketing or management, and try to take their jobs...what we have to say doesn't really matter at the moment. She's contracted for a year, maybe two. Just gonna have to deal.

Well she's popular enough to be the co-host of the MTV pre-show, constantly in US vogue, and Victoria's Secret angel...i can continue if you want? Popularity isn't only based on fans.

and isn't that akin to the pot calling the kettle black (not you per say). it's OK if it's vice versa...the HF entering lingerie...but not when a curvy model does HF. I'm pretty sure you're missing my point. Did I ever say that it was okay that people criticize Kate? No. I'm just stating that the Internet is trolls-ville and that it's stupid how much time people waste on talking crap about these models as if them working for VS or breaking into HF literally affects them. If this is what keeps people up at night, wow...

I've seen more people criticize her HF work than praise it. I loved Barbara's work for VS and I wish she'd work with them more, but she'll be fine.

Kate Upton has no trolls? You've got to be joking me. Just look on any other fashion related community board and you'll realize how mistaken you are. The fact that she's breaking into HF is making people freak out just as much as people are freaking out about Karlie being an Angel on this board.

Pink is spot on. The internet is full of trolls and there's always going to be more negativity than positivity. More people are worried about visiting things they don't like to express their loathing for said product/person/etc rather than praising it.

Hate, negative opinion. Tomayto, tomahto. It's all the same really and I wasn't lumping you into that group but there are certain members who are quite passionate about their negative opinions. Those are the opinions I will enjoy during this whole process.

VS is a business and clearly Chanel wasn't working so they were done with her. If it doesn't work with Karlie, I'm sure they'll do the same. I'm glad she's an angel and I hope she stays just so I can watch everyone who "hates" her lose their marbles over something so silly.
