Young model impresses at fashion week Oct 21, 2004 6:49 AM It's not just the clothes creating a buzz at the fourth New Zealand Fashion Week. A 16-year-old Taupo girl making her catwalk debut has also become a talking point. Taupo teen Karla Devine is the homegrown hot pick this year. She's never been on the catwalk before, but that hasn't stopped her being selected for 11 shows, including Zambesi, Kate Sylvester and Helen Cherry. "Most of it I enjoy.. it's just hair and make up that goes on forever is a boring bit, but it's not too bad. "It's quite rushed and early starts.. but lots of fun and all the girls are really good," Devine says. Kiwi catwalk queen Angela Dunn, who at 43 is still modelling in Europe, has watched Devine blossom. "Gorgeous. She's lovely. Such a pretty girl and so very lovely. And really improved as well, a girl that I've really noticed getting more confident," Dunn says. But as glamorous as fashion week may be, it is still just a trade show and Dunn believes the best models are the ones that no one actually remembers. "Because after all everyone's coming to watch the clothes.. not the girl...and some models forget that...it's not about us. Ok, there are not so many informations about her at fmd, only these: Nationality: American Hair Color: Brown Eye Color: Brown Height: 5'10.5" ; 179cm Measurements: (US) 32.5-25-35 ; (EU) 82.5-63.5-89 Dress Size: (US) 6 ; (EU) 36 Shoe Size: (US) 8 ; (EU) 39 but I think the season she started doing shows was spring summer 2006. She did then L.A.M.B., YSL, Tommy Hilfiger to name a few. I will try to find more info about her. I f you know something more about Marie, feel free to add your infos.

Thanks Ann Mary for a thread about her! I didn't know that she was in Roberto Cavalli ads! She's the best friends with Karolina Malinowska. I saw her (Kamila) once in an interview with Natalia Halicka on tv, and she seemed a bit fake for me...like the things she said were not said naturally, if you know what I mean. Oh great. I saw this ad in some magazines and wondered who she is, such a lovely cheekbones. And I didn't knew who was this girl in D&G spring summer 2007 collection in pink pants, and I thought today "maybe it's Suzanne" and I saw a backstage photo of her in this outfit so now I know that it's Miss Diaz. btw she is 100% American? I don't think so. Well, her surname sounds South-American.

Thanks Dajana, especially for this "Velvet" cover! It's gorgeous! I just realised that Val has that luck, that nobody can call her ugly! Plain, not interesting, boring looking (tho I don't think like that of course) but not ugly! I don't know why she wasn't in any editorial in US Vogue. Well, maybe she's no sasha or Coco, but her beauty is so...universal,calm,and known as beautiful for masses I think.

Thanks Betty! Today I was in Empik (it's like Barneys and Noble in US let's say ) and there was this French Vogue with her on the cover and Russian too! But this Russian issue was so big, that I even was afraid of checking its price:P of course so many magazines were so expensive. The cheapest one was Vanity Fair, and it costs sth about 9 dollars. Back to Natasha! I'm sad that I can't upload an animation with her as my avatar:( maybe I will try again in a moment..... btw nobody has a photo of her dad? Just to see how much Natasha resemblances(?) him.

Hey! A few days ago there was a New Age Model contest. Unfortunately I heard about it a day after it, in another case I would go there to see Ania but well, I don't think I could see her, because it was a "close" party. I'm looking now for photos from this event. Nobody posted anything in Anna's thread on tfs, no photos are even on annajagodzinska.com I googled for photos from this event, and found some on kozaczek There was Palmers show.
