OMG I'm loving her more and more with every day! She's amazing, and seems smart, too! Posted by MissMagAddict at tfs, probably from Teen Vogue website: Radiating bombshell good looks and an innate knack for her craft, Amanda Seyfried has all the makings of a Hollywood heavyweight. Yet as she takes the silver screen by storm in this summer’s epic musical, Mamma Mia!, it’s safe to say that Amanda is not only unique – but she’s in a league all her own. When it comes to Amanda – a 22 year-old ex-child model who remains best known for her portrayal of a ditzy “Plastic” in Mean Girls, or the doomed high-school beauty in Veronica Mars – appearances can be more than a little bit deceiving. With long golden locks and an angelic face, it’s no wonder Amanda has encountered an unfortunate typecast; however, once represented by famed modeling agency Wilhelmina, Amanda’s striking face is credited with igniting her career. Posing for Limited Too campaigns alongside fellow future actress, Leighton Meester, Amanda remembers her insecurities budding around the time she met the ‘Gossip Girl.’ “Leighton was very confident,” she recalls. “And I was very shy.” As Amanda steps out of the shadows as one of Tinsletown’s brightest young talents, she is candid in revealing that her life as an actress was not always a priority. When she first moved to New York from her native Allentown, Pennsylvania a half-decade ago all Amanda wanted to do was sing. Classically trained as in vocals from the time she was eleven, Amanda once actively pursued her dreams of Pop-Stardom and Broadway. “I lived and breathed singing,” she recalls. “But then when I started acting, that was just it.” Over the course of her versatile career, Amanda has been working on her confidence just as much as she’s been practicing her skills as an actress. Along with self-assurance, she also remembers feeling uneasy about the fame that comes along with acting. Rather than share feelings about her own success, Amanda gives insight into the nature of some of the tabloid’s regular targets. “It really can go either way,” she explains. “I’ve met some people who are so freaking distraught and who don’t know how to handle it, and I’ve met some who have their head on straight and are really happy.” In regard to her most infamous costar to date, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda is quick to mention, “Lindsay was great on Mean Girls. I think that was before she got a little nuts.” Unlike so many young actresses who bask in the glow of celebrity, Amanda Seyfried reveals that life in the spotlight has been an unexpected surprise. “I had no trust in myself that I was made for this,” she admits - and then came Mamma Mia!. Amanda’s role as Sophie in the film version of Broadway’s cult-classic gave the actress a newfound faith in her gift. “I can’t believe I was in it!” she gushes. “That helped my confidence, just the fact that I was able to do it”… “Now” – she smiles – “I feel good enough.” With early praise for her performance in Mamma Mia!, Amanda’s gearing-up her wardrobe for the many red carpets she’ll soon be gracing. In choosing an outfit for premieres, Amanda says that she’s “looking for something sophisticated and modest.” Just like other girls, Amanda notes her physical insecurities, though they have never caused her to shy away from fashion. Citing a penchant for great jeans and dresses, Amanda credits Miu Miu and Opening Ceremony by Chloe Sevigny among her favorite labels. Though she professes a love for fashion, individuality is always Amanda’s first inspiration. “I have my own sense of style. I on’t necessarily copy anybody to the T.” So what’s next for Hollywood’s newly minted starlet? More acting of course! Amanda is currently working on Diablo Cody’s latest movie, Jennifer’s Body, and has recently finished shooting the independent film, Boogie Woogie. In addition to her role on HBO’s acclaimed TV series Big Love, be sure to look out for Amanda on MTV where she’s set to make her music video debut with a recording of Mamma Mia’s! “Gimme Gimme Gimme.” I want to have this issue of Teen Vogue- Amanda Seyfried

Ok, I tried to reply to this comment twice, but there was sth wrong with BZ, and it wasn't posted will try again now.- Anna Maria Urajevskaya
Anna is the model of June at fmd too good I noticed it the last day of this month Anna Maria Urajevskaya Russian with brown hair and blue-green eyes born February 11 in Moscow, Russia 5'11" ; 180cm 'IQ Models' - Moscow Natural beauty, Anna Maria Urajevskaya has managed to make a substantial impact on the fashion world; which is certainly impressive considering that she is still only 17. At such a tender age she has already had multiple campaigns such as Blumarine, Bulgari, Calvin Klein and Dior, to name a few. Since being discovered 3 years ago Anna Maria has conquered the runways from New York to Milan becoming one of the top most asked for models on the scene. These, among so many other reasons are why we decided crown this Russian eyecatcher as out Model of the Month for June. We asked her a few questions as to how it has been so far, here is what she had to say .... How did you get started in the modeling business? Anna Maria: I got started through my father's friend, who suggested us to get in touch with Pavel Zotov - Director of IQ models Moscow. Pavel was a friend of my father's friend, we've met, Pavel was quite convincing about my modeling perspectives and after that everything got started. Did you ever think you'd be doing this? Anna Maria: Until I met Pavel at the age of 14, I hadn't really thought about becoming a model. My parents also didn't expect that modeling would bring such major changes to me. I just wanted to try something new in my life, nothing more, and I thought I was doing that for fun. However after only one year none of members of my family had doubts that becoming a model was a good idea for me. Actually, after 1 year none of my family members even questioned that I should be trying something else. Now they just provide more and more support to me, which brings me only good feelings about the try that I've made at 14! What do you like most about modeling? What do you like least? Anna Maria: What I like most is that there are always surprises, creative and talented people that I always find myself surrounded by, not much routine involved and of course, the opportunity to discover multiple beauties of our big world! I enjoy all that almost every day and I don't really think about what I like the least. Have you encountered any surprises along the way? Anna Maria: Life always full of surprises, both good and bad ones. In my opinion in modeling business good surprises constantly outbalance bad ones. It happened to me many times that after a failure of getting a job on one day, next day I was given even bigger challenge to try: and somewhere in one of my favorite spots on top of everything! May be I'm a lucky one, but I remember only good surprises that I've encountered during my modeling career. ...or maybe I exist in wonderful surroundings of people that protect me against bad surprises I guess! Ever get tempted to get pulled into the party scene? Anna Maria: I haven't been pulled into the party scene because I'm not really a party girl. Have you developed any new interests since you started modeling? Anna Maria: Since I've started modeling I have developed interests in sports, photography and reading biographies. Whenever I'm in a new city, I rent a bike and ride all around discovering my neighborhood. I fond of taking pictures of urban day-to-day life, as well as pictures of animals and nature. What are your favourite things to do in your free time? Anna Maria: In my free time I enjoy being with friends, playing kickball, training dogs for dog shows, watching movies and attending musicals. Out of all the places your career has taken you, where was the most memorable? Anna Maria: I like LA the most. There is a special feeling in the air. It has a laid-back atmosphere, which gives me the feeling that I don't want to leave. Amsterdam is my second favorite city because of the beauty of the architecture and canals, small comfortable hotels and restaurants, friendly people and relaxed ambience. Do you have a mentor? Who? What is it about them that affects you? Why? Anna Maria: In this business I got lucky with my mentors, who are my mother agents Pavel and Dima. From the beginning they've believed in me, been supportive and have always led me in the right direction. And of course my family has always been there for me. Where do you see yourself in ten years? What could be your next career? Anna Maria: Ten years is too far down the road to imagine, but I'm sure I'll be enjoying my choice of my next career!!! What are your best beauty secrets? How do you stay in shape? Anna Maria: Although there are not really beauty secrets I do the following. I take 10 second cold showers in the morning when I have jet lag to wake myself up. I also take vitamins, drink spring water and eat healthy food. When possible I always get a good night sleep. Finally, I like to go cycling, running and do pilates. What would you want people to know about you? Anna Maria: Honestly, I've never thought of it!!! Probably I have nothing special to show up, nothing special to hide out! Any advice for new models? What advice would you give other models starting out? Anna Maria: In my opinion, the rules of thumb for both beginners and experienced models are as follows: to like modeling, believe in yourself, be yourself and have a good support from your agency and family. Favourite all-time model: Anna Maria: Cindy Crawford. She is strikingly beautiful, clever and for many years in a row remains a modeling legend. Favourite kind of food: Anna Maria: Everything that my grandmother cooks!!!! Favourite kind of music: Anna Maria: rock/pop Favourite quote: Anna Maria: "Genius is one per cent inspiration and ninety-nine per cent perspiration," - Thomas Alva Edison I'd like to meet: Anna Maria: Sigmund Freud, to smack him . If I were trapped on an island I'd take: Anna Maria: I'd take the items most needed to survive, but better friends!!!!!!! Thank you Anna Maria for this interview!
