Margherita Missoni
Margherita Missoni (born February 21, 1983) in Italy is perhaps best known for her rise to prominence as an ambassador of and heir to her families Missoni fashion house founded by her Grandparents, her appearance in Missoni fashion campaigns, as an aspiring actress. Margherita is a current New York local following her re-location from Italy to pursue acting.
Born in Italy, Margherita grew up in the Italian countryside, spending weekends in Milan. Margherita studied philosophy at Columbia University, however following her move to New York, struggled emotionally when her academic credits could not transfer to the United States educational system. Following the obstacle, Margherita chose to explore her first love of theatre.
Before her feature in Missoni campaigns, Margherita was a Missoni ambassador, a duty entailing promotion at fashion related events. In her own words Margherita described the process of becoming the face of a Missoni campaign as, "a natural evolution. Margherita currently appears in the advertisement for Missoni perfume.
Currently, Margherita is studying acting in New York with hopes of gaining success in the entertainment industry.Most recently, Margherita was featured in Jean Genet�€™s controversial The Maids, based on a true story of two maids who kill their mistress.
