OK guys maybe I am alone in this. I am definitely a HUGE Candice fan (in terms of her work in VS and lots of her editorial work) but I was expecting SO much more from her this year (and of course more from VS as well) but I'll be entirely honest. The hair/make up was NOT a fit on her this year. Her backstage pictures - NONE of them made me go oh WOW! Like her pictures have in the past. Her runway looks... Sure, the outfits themselves were not amazing but she did not look amazing!!!! She was so lackluster...so many NON angels out shined her this year. It was disappointing for me. Truly disappointing . I mean some girls were given fugly outfits (adri- superheroes segment, but she still WORKED it!) I know it's not fair to compare candice/adri but I'm just saying... she fell so flat for me this year it wouldn't have mattered whether she was there or not.

One character that doesn't get mentioned enough is Nelson Van Alden. Michael Shannon is arguably the BEST actor on that show!! (along with in my opinion Jack Huston who btw for anyone that might follow fashion- Dates Shannan Click ) Nelson's character is SO extreme in almost every decision and scene. It takes a lot of talent to play him the complexity of his character knows no limits. It's amazing, all of the actors on BE are just absolutely AMAZING.

I'm still that maryna only got 2 outfits this year while anja got 3. Anja does her thing in the HF world but she's not very Vs commercial. Just surprising is all.

Models arrive at around 9am, but the show isn’t until 8pm. Talk about a long day! With endless hair and make-up, interviews with press and last minute fittings and run-throughs, models are busy from the second they sit down in their makeup chair to the moment they step foot on the glittery runway. Lol Shanina competing w/ adriana, candice, or miranda? I don't think so. Yes the placement is kind of odd but at the same time they're going to place other girls in between... I don't think it speaks all that much to Shanina's capabilities. She comes off as an SI girl to me in her print work and in personality. Could just be me though.

Never was her biggest fan still don't think she's the MOST beautiful woman in the world. but some of the pics you posted Viola...took my breath away.

I'm not too big of an Erin fan. I think she has gotten better in overall appeal in this last year but she's usually pretty lack luster for me. I do think she's good for PINK but not so much for the regular brand. I wouldn't mind her closing the PINK segment. I can understand why they're putting PINK last but I'll be honest. I miss the days where PINK was in the middle of the show. and a real segment closed the show. Absolutely miss it. The only PINK segment I really enjoyed was the one with the TING TING's song 'That's not my name' PS MissLimaVzla... read your recent post on the TFS thread. glad SOMEONE on there has the obvious sense to see that. It's hilarious because it's assumed that just because he has taken pictures with models at parties...he obviously MUST keep in touch with all of them. It's absurd lol. So flakey. Even I confirmed a few of those names before him. But it's very clear he comes to BZ and TFS. Sigh, oh well! It would be so much easier if during VSFS we could just join bz and tfs...I'd only have to check one thread.

Any particular dresses/designers we'd like to see on the girls during the after party?

It's monitored by a health professional. What is the big deal? This is not her normal diet. The only problem I see is that she should have thought twice before revealing that to the public because of how it may reflect on the brand VS and sure, how it would make impressionable young women feel and think. Adriana lima is a gorgeous woman. She is not rail thin and she does not portray an unhealthy body type in any such way. Her wanting to prepare to walk a catwalk in her underwear is normal. The way in which she prepares for it is not all that alarming. Athletes have done similar. It sounds disgusting and I am sure that it is brutal to go through she must not have the energy to do a lot of things she normally does, but it is natural for models to kick it up around the time of the show. Their job isn't to set healthy ideals for us to idolize in terms of nutrition. They are supermodels their very existence caters to appearance. She's getting paid a few million by VS to be the star of that runway. Haters are gonna hate!

Maybe it's just me but I'd rather have Cee lo at the show than Minaj. I think Minaj and Kanye are too much in one show. I'm still not too excited about there being 3 performers and I find it hilarious that VS put out a statement saying that Cee lo conveniently couldn't make it :brows: I am not that excited about Shanina being there... she doesn't bother me but I am not blown away by her by any means. I do like that an angel seems to be opening each segment. Bravo. Still not impressed with the outfits this year but it seems like there is a pretty solid cast forming. From the outfits I've seen I saw one outfit on Erin that I liked. I like Dri's outfits but only because I think she can pull literally anything off. If she can work that hideous outfit she had during 'game on' she can work anything. Even the orange thigh boots/incredible cape outfit (which I personally do not like) I kind of like the purple outfit except for the leggings. They don't work for me. I'm dying to see some of Ale's fits! The Segment I like best from what I've seen so far is the spanish segment.

Do you have a HQ image of the inside of the invites? And by chance are you going?!? Hmmm... Again I don't want to start drama or chaos but I have heard that they are implementing a private show this year hence a third taping/show? I don't know what it's all about. Who knows.

This is NOT confirmed or even necessarily likely so please do not treat it as FACT. But I have heard from more than one source that instead of two tapings this year there will be three. Can this be true?

Anxious to see what Adri gets I really did not like her outfit in the Game on segment last year. It was horrid. and the fantasy bra wasn't the best there ever was. The black and red outfit from the intro was decent...otherwise...meh
