Really? I think Adriana can be both soft and sexy yet sharp and sexy at times (which I like) I know what you mean about Candice being in your face sexy all the time, I do like her body but sometimes her face--especially her nose, is incredibly sharp (to me). Palvin looks great and still has a baby face, I can't wait to see what she looks like in just a few years.

THIS! The woman looks as hooker-ish as they come, It pains me when people compares her to Adriana I don't think she looks like Adriana at all, but Barbara Palvin is actually the only model i see as 'Mini-Adriana' they have a similar type of beauty IMO Usually, people are so quick to compare any model that has light eyes, juicy lips, and dark hair to Adriana and the majority of the time those models look nothing like Adriana. I don't think Catalina looks too similar, but I think at times she does resemble Adriana a little bit, only because of the roundness of her cheeks. She has somewhat of a fuller face like Adriana, and I can't help but notice she tries to do the same poses/make the same faces as Adriana time and time again but Catalina doesn't even resemble Adriana enough to be called the poor-man's Adri. I don't think Palvin looks anything like Adriana, but I feel that so many people want to believe that she does. maybe everyone sees something I don't! Palvin has a little bit of a fuller body which I like, and again-- it's the adorable cheeks-which both Adri and Palvin have, but outside of them, I don't personally see similarities. I do like both of them though.
  3. Are all the models who aren't pregnant going to be at the opening?

wish these were bigger, but can't complain.

I haven't seen one picture of Catalina Otalvaro where she doesn't look as trashy as can be. That said she has a nice bum bum.
  6. The term womanizer is hilarious to me. As though these women are victims, victims of what? Leo's advances? I'm sure he mesmerizes them, but some people truly act like these poor option-less women fall prey to the womanizing ways of Leo. Give me a break lol!!!
  7. The bra looks much better there than it did in the pic that was posted on here, even if it's not the fantasy bra
  8. Pretty sure this flawless sista wasn't comparing Adriana and Gisele's fanbase. all she meant was she can't be famous and recognized as the 90s models without having at least a substantial internet following. The 90s girls really would have had millions of followers/likes. All the celebs that are household names have atleast more than 5 million likes/followers in the respective social networking sites. I'm pretty sure there are countless people who follow Rihanna on twitter, and they're not necessarily fans. Same thing should be applied to Gisele. You can tell the status of a celeb just by simply Googling him or her. That's the power of the internet. And if u remember those Gisele and Miranda polls, can u share? not shading at all, genuinely curious.I think the commercial was shot in August last year. For several days. No I don't have polls that involve Miranda kerr or Gisele Bundchen at hand, my point was to say that there had to be polls involving those women that men have voted in, much like the poll about Adriana. So claiming that the only reason they didn't use anyone other than Adriana for the poll, was because the other women would be not as effective is not necessarily the case. and MissLima...I'm not trying to argue about whether other models are more popular than Adriana or not. I just think it's inaccurate to assume everyone has to know who Adriana is because she has almost 2 million facebook followers.
  9. I will actually be at Comic con this Friday/Saturday!!!!I am so disheartened to learn that Leo won't be there, but am so excited about Waltz and Tarantino...wooo!
  10. Does anyone know when the commercial might be filmed? and the location of it this year? I think last year we found out it would be in Prague pretty early, any updates anywhere on it this year?

    her hair is fabulous
  12. Oh man, I don't like the Sexy little fantasies pictures this year as much as I did the last time she did them! They're not as sexy as the previous ones, I think it has to do with the make up too. Some of those outfits look extra cheap this time around (like the mafia/gangster outfit) I like the sailor one though does anyone know where the commercial will be filmed this year then? I guess new york!?
  13. ^ Lol as if there haven't been any polls involving GIsele bundchen and men or Miranda kerr and men. That's crazy talk. Yes Gisele doesn't have as many followers as Adriana on twitter/facebook/etc. But she is still a more recognized name, not everyone who knows who Gisele Bundchen is -is going to find her facebook fan page and become a fan. I was not talking about who has more fans and more followers. The entire discussion was simply about what model is more recognizable by name and/or face by the average person. And yes Gisele got the bra in 2000 and 2005.
  14. Thanks Katch! and Wijn, Hiddleston is definitely the cutest from those 3 lol sorry but bradley cooper is not for me!! I'll try to find the link when I go home, I'm pretty sure I read it in print, so probably no youtube video , and apparently it was from when he was around 26 years old. I think it was with him and James lipton, but searching from my phone now I don't even see a record of him having been on 'inside the actor's studio' so I'm thinking that maybe the interview was a spoof.
  15. can you post them misslima?

her face is seriously fantastic. She reminds me of some kind of enchanted forest fairy, in a good way
  17. where is this from? lol if so, shittier and shittier as the years go by. Sigh.
  18. I didn't say that Lara or Daria would do as well in a poll like that, but I think a VS angel like Gisele or Miranda etc would. You're blurring the lines between recognition and preference. You're arguing that Adriana is more preferred, I don't really care to agree or disagree with that because I thought the topic of conversation was how recognized she is/her name is. I still don't feel that Adriana has the recognition that some people think she does. Again, she is one of the better known models present day, and through out the 2000's, but better known doesn't mean KNOWN. My statement about men acknowledging Gisele as 'thee model' had nothing to do with her appearance. It had to do with her status. When a man, or even the average person hears the term supermodel. The name and face of Gisele Bundchen is going to come to mind before Adriana. Adriana Lima is a supermodel, but more so within the context of Victoria's Secret (and that is not to discredit her, I know she has done a lot of work outside of VS)--but just saying, she's mostly strictly regarded for her VS work (at least by the masses/general public) Gisele, in MY opinion is the last of the supermodels in terms of status, vogue covers, recognition --that can be compared to the models of the 90s. The work she has done outside of VS is unmatched, in terms of models in our day and age. I'm not saying gracing GQ isn't a big deal, there's a reason why she broke records and I'm sure she's prompted more men to buy those magazines than other models have. And yes the men who go through that spread are going to remember her name. But considering the population of the US, and the # of males, even within a certain age bracket, you can't really deny that most people, most men, don't care about GQ.
  19. Jasmine's smile/mouth looks the same now as it did back then (at least to me) and what a cute BABY!

Not a huge Ale fan, but I did want her to get the bra this year...it only seemed right. So good for her! btw at uploading a picture of pins, I'm not complaining...just think it's silly how much people take a picture of just to upload. Is ale back in shape completely after giving birth to Noah? If not, if she even had a few days to go you would think they would have waited a little longer. But then again Ale always drops the weight fast.
  21. jasmine tookes!!
  22. Scoring 2 US GQ covers is a great thing and yes it's a men's magazine and that went along with what I mentioned earlier in regards to her being on hot lists (fhm/maxim/etc) and exposed to men. But GQ covers still come down to who is exposed to them. Whether online or physically. People might look at the pictures/cover but they don't have to necessarily buy it or know who the person is. January Jones was on the cover of GQ, do you think anyone who doesn't watch Mad Men is going to remember the name written in average print on the cover of the magazine? It's a mens magazine, but not all men read it. I think men who are into style and read GQ might be more interested in knowing more about fashion/models in general, so maybe subscribers would definitely know who she is. But her cover breaking records still has to do with the people that buy the issue. Don't get me wrong, more men know who Adriana is opposed to some other high fashion models such as Anja Rubik, Lara Stone, or even Daria W. And I'm sure her GQ covers have assisted in that as well as her status as a VS angel for almost a decade now, but I don't know how breaking GQ cover sales still implies that most men know who she is. Most men know the Emma Stones, Scar Jo's, and Angie's because of the fact that they are always in your face and everywhere. Where as models, not so much anymore. Adriana would be one of the more known models if you were to list them, but that still doesn't mean she's known to the average male. If that makes sense. Just like with that poll that you're talking about. In order to participate in it, if you don't know who Adriana is you would have to google her. She's a generally attractive girl, in that respect I think most people would agree. I don't think it's supernatural to pick going out with a supermodel over watching the champions league final. Whether it was Adriana vs. Champions league final...or it was Gisele Bundchen or Miranda Kerr vs Champions league final. Personally, I think it's pretty crazy to say that the average male would know the name Adriana over Gisele. The majority of men who know absolutely nothing about fashion, models, or VS all know Gisele is a supermodel, Thee supermodel. Again, I think a man who is interested in fashion, even men's fashion to the extent of being subscribed to GQ probably knows more about models than the average male does, so I would peg them to know who Adriana is, but how many people are subscribed to GQ? comparing to the masses? And while Adriana is found to be the exotic supermodel and constantly voted on being the 'sexiest' (and yes a lot of men do love her) I think more women care about Adriana than men do. It's probably like that for all models regardless of their sex appeal, except for maybe Kate Upton because she is recognized by the average male in a very constant way...due to the different ways she's marketed through the media and her working with for example the MLB.
