It does sting a bit... but it doesn't hurt. It kind of feels good. But overall, i think it's just okay. I don't think it works much. It just makes your lips really red... atleast, that is what it does for me. I bought mine a while ago, and I barely even use it. It sits in my dresser. I use the lip plumper by Freeze 24/7 now. It is kind of expensive, but it works best for me. It smells good too, and it also doesn't burn your lips like the lip venom does.
