I am a bit apathetic to this year’s Met looks that I’ve seen already. Some of the ladies looked like they didn’t really care to be there. Or they were bored. I was looking for more over the top looks, more tongue in cheek, more joyfull. Candace could have gone more like the mermaid she identifies with. I laughed at Cara Delevinge’s look. In my mind, she nailed it. She, Jo, Gigi, and Winnie’s looks are sticking in my mind as nailing it. I liked Stella’s makeup, hair ornaments and her stole. I interpreted her outfit as a play on her name, and what the night sky looks like when you’re actually camping.

I wonder how much weight she’s going to lose in that latex (?). Stunning too!!

1) I agree with what you are saying about The Expanse. 2) This needs an asterisk: These are in the Oughts and Newer. Old and original were not as bad at the morality plays. Sometimes they just wanted to have fun doing what they did.

On a sad note, the news was just released that Peter Mayhew passed away on Tuesday.

Leomie, Lais, and Martha: just wowsa!! Sara and Taylor: jelly of the hair girls! Babs: they did bad things to her hair at the VS store, though I do like her hair cut. Dear VS, please, please, please put Stella and Barbara in several shoots!! Why not play up their friendship? Excited to see who who is showing up at the Met this year! Does BZ have a Met Gala thread yet?

It’s nice to see/read just how well thought of Lily is in her field. As @bump said earlier, Ms Lily seems to be such a bubbly person all around. That is something we in the South say, a class act and a true lady.
