There are days, maryna, when I think we're imagining things. That we're all going collectively mad as a well deserved punishment for reading crappy gossip sites. And there are days when... I don't know... there are days when I think that maybe they're separated. I particularly remember that L'Express interview (in which she evaded a direct question as to how she and Justin raised their children). It read bad. I thought, why is she avoiding to mention Justin, something she's never done in the good old days? Why is she wasting a perfect opportunity to talk about him and just put these rumors to rest in a discreet way? Then, one day, out of the blue, when we least expected, she says that she loves her husband; that they're closer than ever; that they'll be celebrating their anniversary together. <_< I agree with you, rumors are not good at all. I prefer to believe that there's no reason why, at this day and age, a couple in the public eye would hide their separation for so long, as if they were living in a Jane Austen book. Unless they're in a trial separation and haven't decided yet as to the state of the union. Oh, man, I'm going cheesy again. I do miss seeing them together.

Yeah, it's true. But I've just browsed the Russian sites and, guess what?, here comes the third (or fourth?) wave of rumors. This time, they're saying Natalia and Justin have already divorced - secretely. They have even resurrected Boltenko from the ashes. This site was one of the first to report the "scoop": http://www.7d.org.ua/?news=showbiz&id=7176 Me too, maryna, I still hope to see Natalia and Justin together. I don't want to sound cheesy and all, but they were great together. And although I understand that it might be too much for him to accompany her everywhere, everytime, he could still make an appearance every once in a while. Sometimes, she looks kind of sad and tired, all alone.

Really sweet, ariti, thank you! And she's so right! Tigers are hunted down for the stupidest reasons, from vanity trophies to aphrodisiacs (tiger bones are believed to be a powerful one in Asia). Humanity is in a very sad shape...

via ANV Maybe she can find a way to couple the effort to prepare Russia for the World Cup with building more and more playgrounds around the country? That would be super.

I honestly, truly, desperately don't get this list. Whatever Natalia does, no matter how many new contracts she signs, her position doesn't bulge. But, ok, I won't pretend I understand this whole calculation, 'cause I don't.

At least this time, Justin's absence is excused.

It's true, pautinka. I'll never forget the opening and closing cerimonies in 1980. Mischa is probably one of the all time top mascots ever. Really cute. On another completely different matter: 1) Just browsed UK Haper's Bazaar Jan 2011 issue. They have a whole article with pictures dedicated to Tom Ford's show in New York ("Mr. Tom Ford's back"), but Natalia. Another major disappointment... 2) Natalia was wearing Roberto Cavalli yesterday, in Zurich. She did catwalk for Cavalli in Milan. Do you guys think there might be a possibility she can snatch a Cavalli ad campaign? Just wondering. You know, last time she was seen orbiting the Louis Vuitton scene, she had already been signed for the LV 2010-11 FW campaign. Cavalli would be really cool, I think. It's one of my favourite designers. http://www.facebook.com/RobertoCavalli/posts/111710918897324

On top of technical plans, schedules and projects, the countries have to basically convince FIFA that they can promote a great show. It's not a matter of just organizing matches. It's the whole spectacle. And business - big, big, big business. FIFA expects the hosts to make the most of the occasion, so that's what Russia had to show. Natalia is Ambassador for the Socchi Games already; she's also famous, accomplished, has an outstanding professional profile and is engaged into promoting Russia abroad. I can only guess she was invited to be part of the Russian delegation because of all that, and also because she represents the modern Russia. Natalia lent her face and credentials to the bidding - it was a campaign, after all. I must say, I watched the whole presentation and was very impressed by it. Judging by what the Russians did during the Olympic Games (although it was another time, another era), I can only suppose they're going to offer a tight, well organized, very entartaining World Cup. It was a fair decision - and long overdue!

So true and so admirable! She's a true Ambassador for Russia! ==> I've just watched the whole Russian bidding, from beginning to end (good one, I might add; I'm all in favour of the Russians now). Natalia doesn't speak, but she does appear in the end. Caps are very (N) right now because the video was not HD. But, anyway... so that you'll see:
