I bet she was. They can't just deny her rights to the song or there'd have been another reason for Doherty to be in trouble. Plus her and Pete are friends. She talks about Pete and some stuff here! Actually, having just watched the video, it's really interesting. Explains a lot.

Wikipedia claims she was "a former drummer", but according to Wikipedia the female drummer was called Gemma Clarke? I think she was the one the "using" rumours were about. There is no mention of Irina on the Babyshambles Wikipedia page, so maybe she was only their drummer temporarily, just long enough to write one song with them?

She's friends with Lindsay, but I can't imagine her writing a song for her She used to be the drummer in Babyshambles, which explains her connections with Pete and Kate, and apparently she's collaborating with Sean Lennon for a LP which will be released next month! Not just a pretty face then.
