  1. Yeah, definitely a rip-off. I think the main problem with the one I ate is that the croissant part is not as good as a traditional croissant. When you bit it, the filling kind of jumps into your mouth. TBH the traditional croissant that's cut in half and has strawberries and cream in it is a lot better. It seems that is is getting viral because it looks cool lol.
  2. I think it was first popular in South korea and now it's catching on in the US It's a donut shaped croissant with filling injected into it.
  3. I ate one of the viral croissant donuts today. It cost me $6 which is the same as a dozen normal and larger croissants from Costco. Good but super overrated. I would rate the strawberry one 3.5 out of 5 stars. The Croissant is very airy and less oily than a normal croissant and the strawberry filling is very light. I haven't eaten Dubai chocolate yet. I've been waiting a year for the price to drop but it never does. It seems retarded to eat a $14 chocolate bar.

  6. Xi repeatedly refers to the reinunification of China with Taiwan and it is a way to keep the military fit and prepared it seems. However, if China occupies and integrates Taiwan I suspect that it will be peaceful like it was with Hong Kong. Maybe it will take place a very long time from now. I suspect that they are waiting for the US Empire to crumble and see a lot of imperial retreat from its 300-odd international military bases. I went there before, Taiwan is like Japan in terms of living standards and also they are basically Chinese people from South-China.
  7. It appears that US behavior towards Israel largely stems from : 1. AIPAC (2nd biggest lobby $$ in the US), Trump is corrupted by pro-Israel donors, both Christian and Jewish. One of them paid him $90 million for the Trump campaign. 2. Fundamentalist/Evangelical Christians that identify with Christian Zionism and the second coming of Jesus Christ. This means that Israel must be protected and expanded at all costs. Politicians, Pentagon, US MIC, Genocidal Warmongers, Oil & Gas- they see Israel as a unsinkable aircraft carrier to project US interests in the region and they intend to drain the middle east of oil before draining America of its reserves. Also by threatening Regime change and mass murder they can protect the trade routes that go through it. Overall it appears that the US is gearing towards a war with Iran. I think definitely the US will continue to support Israel although like you say maybe less as the old people disappear.

It is kind of awkward seeing the restaurant staff give an 'influencer' special treatment- but this guy completely trashes the restaurant and they don't know it lol
