Wagner has fought approx 40 brigades/equivalents in these 7 months. This is approx. 50% of Ukrainian front line forces, currently. That's approx 120 infantry battalions or minimum 60,000 infantry plus replacements, which is also the approx. maximum number of Ukrainian human losses. PMC losses likely over 10,000 but not much more or less than 20,000. Their losses are several times less than the Ukrainian. Putin will have to set up more Bakhmuts with PMCs if he wants to attrit Ukraine to death with minimal political risk. The Adviika fortified zone, after an extensive aerial preparation, has become more active with Russian attacks. This war has turned into a WW1 like death pitt. The bulk of the Russian regular army is busy reforming combat doctrine, training and not even attacking. Perhaps they will focus on NATO instead of Ukraine.
