  1. This statue is really nice but they really screwed up the face. The face is the only reason why I'm not getting it. @Enrico_sw @SympathysSilhouette does this look like Ciri to you? The figure I bought has two heads, one is normal geralt and the other has the 'hearts of stone' mark on his face. The hair is funky
  2. I couldn't resist and bought the Yennefer statue
  3. Hearts of Stone, the expansion is timeless. To be honest it is so good that I think it could be novelized as well, and made into its own movie. One often neglected thing about the expansion is the Oferi merchant that Geralt meets in the beginning. Quite odd and interesting. You got to see it! Apocalypse Now is one of the greatest American films ever made and work of genius. Its basic concept is inspired by Heart of Darkness but it has tremendous substance. Martin Sheen was awesome, and Marlon Brando's performance is one of the best of all time. For me it is no. 1. I revisited for years and years, and every time I watch it I see more and more. beginning :
  4. @Enrico_sw What classic french and russian literature did you study in school ? I am doing the 3 musketeers now. TBH don't really get the appeal but am still going. I thought Dumas' other classic, Count of Monte Cristo was awesome. I am also considering do Les Miserables and vol. 1 In search of Lost time (Proust) after this.

From what I experienced- for me I am inclined to script everything. I first write down a script, and then convert it to teleprompter format, and then control it with a small remote mouse. If I free-style it with a few points I guess I could do that too but it wouldn't flow so smoothly and I would have to practice, which takes a lot of time. Yea, Arthur gets sick when Downes spits in his face/eyes IIRC. Maybe he doesn't understand the concept of germs, viruses, and bacteria or the developers didn't coordinate his illness with the rest of the game well enough. I have heard that Red Dead 2's open world is still unsurpassed in certain aspects, like the environmental details and animal AI. The Last of US show is quite loyal to the game and had very good production values.

Yeah, I am still working on it and have already developed a strategy for it. I will not publish my work until I finish the first batch of 36 videos. I finished 8 already and am scripting the other 28.
  9. It sucks that there are no decent Ciri statues that aren't rare and over $1000. The biggest issue is that manufacturers seem to have is creating her face. The best one is the $1250 Ciri in a kimono statue. I see even the flawed Dark Horse Series 1 statue being sold for hundreds of dollars. I think all Dark horse needs to do is to find a way to manufacture a good ciri face and just release a series 3 Ciri with the original outfit. It will definitely be popular.

  11. I, Marlow, was recently commissioned by Christopher Robin to go into the Hundred Acre Wood to investigate the stoppage of honey exports from the area. It has been rumored that Pooh Bear has become seclusive and was possibly hoarding the honey. I set out on the Storybook River in a rickety steamer. The trip was dangerous and arduous. At one point, we were attacked by a tribe of Oompa Oopmas who threw chocolate at us. I immediately realized we steamed into the wrong story and backtracked until we found the tributary that took us into the woods. As we entered the woods it was clear something was horribly wrong. Dismembered heads were positioned down the river. There were heads of a tiger, a donkey, a kangaroo, among others. Eventually a small pig like creature rowed up to our steamer. He introduced himself as a emissary of Pooh Bear and seemed to present the bear as a messianic figure. He went on and on with a stutter stating that the other animals did not appreciate the bear's power and genius. He had nothing but scorn for Mr. Robin who he saw as an opportunist who kept the bear and the pig from being anything but child-life, thus blocking their potential. I approached the House at Pooh Corner with fear. But when I entered I found Pooh to be very ill. He has appeared to have endlessly binged on his honey supply and had terminal hunny-tummy-itis. We took him back to the ship but he expired leaving his last words. "The horror, The Horror." We had no idea was it meant and figured he was just being pretentious. As we left the woods we noticed that, without the influence of the Pooh Bear, the woods was reversing to a wild state. By the time we left, the woods were more like a forbidding jungle. Afterwards, Christopher Robin appointed a man named Kurtz to return and try to revive the export business but that is another story for another time. Win for Heart of Darkness
