Thanks Oxford. Almost forgot, but there's one more award to be announced before the Oscars. This coming Sunday February 21st are the Satellite awards... Obviously not as big deal as the others, it's a much smaller ceremony in LA.... and not a lot of big stars attend, but an award Leo is up for nontheless

Noticed people co-relate Ed Sheeran and Leo when it comes to not winning Grammy's and Oscars respectively. Well Ed won his Grammy today.... pretty fitting with Leo being poised to win his Oscar in a couple weeks too

Yup for a long while lots of people have said best actor and best cinematographer will win. Some even said that it could be likely that the film only wins those two Oscars. But after AGI won DGA...he became the frontrunner in his category(although not considered quite a lock yet) funny that before BAFTA a lot of the experts were predicting The Big short and now a lot of them switched to the Revenant now. One guy is saying that DGA + BAFTA almost always = Oscar. But then PGA winners (big short) usually win the Oscar too.,.. So this year is absolutely insane. Combined with how best picture is picked using a preferential ballot, I think anything is still possible One of the editors even pointed out that he thought the Revenant probably wouldn't win best picture at BAFTAs because the last time a film won BAFTA best picture without a screenplay nomination was in the 80's. But obviously it still won. AGI won back to back DGA despite the odds. The race is actually fun haha. I mean I still really really want the Revenant to win but knowing Leo will most likely win has me feeling relaxed over all. I guess not for the distributors for each of the films, they must be going nuts now Thanks for the updates. wonder how much we'll be seeing of Leo between now and Oscar weekend in 2 week (well technically less than 2 weeks) Oscar round tables perhaps

So im watching the show on the internet, Rick Yorn (leo's manager) was sitting between leo and his mom. The hosts joke about leo cleaning up well (obviously because he was really dirty and rough looking in The Revenant) was kinda funny Matt Damon looked rather unimpressed when The Revenant won best picture Felt bad for Cate Blanchett she looked kinda sad when she lost, i mean she was never the frontunner but maybe she had a glimmer of hope with it being the British film awards

i believe he presented Best picture... but still dont see why he needs to be in the pic. But seeing leo and Tom in the same pic is pretty rare ( cant even remember if theyve ever been pictured together)... so its interesting to see i guess

Thanks Jade, Oxford and Barbie for updates and thoughts. Dave is in London now, hence Leo (and his mom) must be too. I've been waiting two weeks for the BAFTAS (after SAG finished) and it's only one day away and I'm still impatient lol

Marine yeah the biggest question mark is best picture. I watched some new videos by Tom Oneil talking to fellow editors like deadline's, Pete Hammond and Anne Thompson and all they are discussing is best picture because that's the category that no one is too sure of.... Then they all mention "Leo is winning" and there's no debate over it between them. So that's good luckygirl thanks can see that his long time friend, Q-tip, was sitting beside Leo at Amfar. Leo was so serious looking at the luncheon but at the 2:30 mark when the announcer said to have fun with it.... Leo finally looked less serious and cracked a smile

Apparently Oscar voters (anonymously) share who they are voting for. Thanks Oxford ........... So Dave is in NY now, so looking possible Leo will take his mom to BAFTA in London. He's taken his dad to the last two ceremonies.... So will be nice to see Leo seated with his mom this time and see him hug her IF he wins the BAFTA.
