tdpatriots12 says the world will end in one of two ways: Celestial body collides with Earth, causing massive dust cloud to cover Earth and bring us into a new ice age. We'd have a significant warning with this, and would be able to save some of the population, quite a bit depending how much warning and how technologically advanced we are. Sol dies or goes nova (this will happen eventually). By then we'll either be killed by the above scenario or have left Earth for a new homeworld (or many new homeworlds). Heres a bonus world ending scenario: Cubs win World Series, Earth implodes.

I'm still waiting for a credible news source to report this. And no offense, but "Meryl from Bellazon" is not credible (neither is tdpatriots12). And with regards to money = lives, that is not the issue at all. Money = Medical Supplies Money = Food Money = Damage Repair Money = Logistical Support Which in turn, saves llives.

Hmm... I'm a pretty prolific news reader, and as someone who likes to spout off my political opinions on other message boards, I usually have to do quite a bit of research to corroborate what I end up saying, so I have a good deal of experience finding sources to justify anything, really. And I searched for a good long while to find something to corroborate the rumors that are mentioned here, and I failed. So until I see a few credible news sources discussing this, I will chalk it up to knee-jerk Anti-Americanism from our "friends" abroad.
