Her job is to look the best she can,her body has to be a little bit more lean than what it is now,just like in the beginning of her career.I find her very attractive and juicy but she does not remind me a female model with her appearance.I think she is promoting more of her sexy side nowadays

She can probably sell for men but I don't see enough sophistication in her look that an ideal VS model would have. If she were to make it, it would just open the floodgates for girls with a similar "Miami beach" look. I know they do work with girls who have implants but it seems to me that they are going for more natural beauty. I also highly doubt that they are going to work with Kendall Jenner. Paris Hilton at one point got crazy amounts of press and they wouldn't let her walk in their show (or at least I assume that she asked because she has been to many VS shows and has done runway before for others purely based on her name). Now the Kardashian Klan has replaced Paris. However, if both girls really have what it takes then yes they shouldn't be stopped based on their family / first impressions.

Thank you MarVS for the pictures! I love the look she had in Bahamas beach pictures. Her face was really pretty and I love the hair. The body she had for 2011 SI is one of the best bodies I have seen but I really like her now. Somehow her body in 2012 was in a more awkward phase but now everything is nice and voluptuous. I guess the way she set up the change was confusing. She was like "Now I get to do projects that I wasn't able to do before!" and sure honoring the troops with Harley-Davidson probably was special to her but what about after that. Captain Morgan? My theory is that she wanted to move on to become a host / commentator for the NFL but from what I see she isn't doing that anymore. Yeah, it's good to move on from long-lasting modelling jobs but I think that something like VS is what Marisa needed. She had the guys eating from the palm of the hand but I feel like she needed more help when it came to getting females on her side. And getting the females on your side is essential to having a long career.

Beyonce was my first guess too. She just loves the spotlight and many times has gone to areas that are considered for models. The most blatant one being the cover of Sports Illustrated. So I could definitely see her singing on the show. Victoria's Secret would also probably love to have someone prestigious like Adele but I doubt that would happen. They also always need a male musician.

I dunno things were just weird in her case. She didn't retire to be a private person again but she didn't go on to have another career like Cindy, Heidi etc. I guess I just think she was a little crazy to ditch Victoria's Secret because that is like the holy grail for American blonde models with big boobs because that type doesn't have the easiest time to find a place in legitimate fashion. I'm sure that VS would have continued to lead to her having more jobs especially when it comes to projects aimed at women. It's odd to see how quiet her career and this thread has been when a couple years ago she was everywhere. However, maybe travelling etc. was getting brutal.

Does anyone know what really happened to Marisa when she left Victoria's Secret? She couldn't have actually thought that Harley Davidson would be a better career move than being one of the Angels unless she was absolutely sick of Victoria's Secret. Maybe she thought she would get pregnant quicker or that her movie career would take off? I also read a comment from tFS that said her husband became her manager and things went south due to that...

I miss the time when pretty much every single outfit looked amazing. Now it's actually a case where the great ones are few and far between and there are so many outfits which are unforgivable and I feel a little sorry for whoever gets stuck with one of those. I mean they get cast for "the sexiest show on Earth" and they have probably seen shows like 2005 but when they go to the fittings something entirely different awaits them... vs. I want them to do again a big reveal like in 2005 when the models were inside a box or in 2007 when some of the models were up in a tree standing on different levels. I just think it would be a stunning opening to have the girls descend fluidly and one after another get on the runway.

I hope so as well plus VS needs some new blood to spice up that line up because Erin, Lais, and Lindsay isn't doing it for me but Idk I have a bad feeling VS is going to do something to screw Barbara over like not pick her to walk the sow or something but I hope that nothing like that doesn't happen.

^ Yeah, I hope she will be on a roll with them like she used to. She was in all the commercials, doing swim, catalogues etc. Wonder when she will do a store appearance like Bregje etc. However, I understand if they are making her pay her dues.

Photoshop fail on the cover. Her waistline is much better when left to look natural. I can't help but wish that she would work with Victoria's Secret again. VS is a constant stream of new material. I hope she will do the upcoming show at least.

They need to up the attractiveness level of the Pink section. For the longest time it has featured some unsightly designs which is a shame because they used to know how to make cute and girly stuff on the right side of silliness and making it all look sexy. I would love it if they actually went with the vibe of 2005 VSFS candy section. Mother Nature knows best when it comes to designs. There is no way that this could ever be inferior to this Same thing if they want something regal etc. vs.

I do hope that Doutzen would get it. VS would be crazy to underuse her. I mean a face like that is probably close to one in a billion. All the big names Tyra, Heidi, Gisele, Karolina, Marisa, Miranda etc. which are now gone have had the Fantasy Bra and it would be a real shame if Doutzen never had the chance to get it. I think she would probably charm the reporters with her beauty and unpretentiousness. (Plus she must have at least a lot of latent recognition among the public due to her high profile campaigns that have been going on for years.) As far as wings go I hope they move back towards having feathers or having the wings be the shape of real wings. Nowadays girls left and right have something on their back and anything seems to be considered "wings" like when Karlie raved about having crazy wings that have a motor in them and then it turns out she was carrying a big board.

^ Unfortunately, I don't know Hi kalani_k! It would have been great to see Machu Picchu. Of course they need paradise beach locations but one of the things that makes SI special is their ability to mix in city settings, unusual places like the desert, historical sites etc.

Around 38.30 they talk about how they got their jobs in SI: It would be fun to see some past girls who only did one or two appearances. As far as locations go I feel like they have underused Europe!
