Of course they should not count. This debate is pointless, counting covers as well...lol. I count the covers in my own collection only and this is the only thing that matters to me. The rest is just speculations and subjectivity.

These can not be count as 3 different covers. Count the image only. These are reprints of US Vogue. This image can be counted as 1 cover only!

Those charts and comparissons are very silly. And it does not matter what nationality a model is. And no, 90's models fans do not hate Gisele, how can anyone even think of something so ridiculous. Gisele is a supermodel and nobody can deny it.
  5. A cover should portray a face or several faces and since the faces are too many, this is the only way to include them all at once. Yes, it looks as if they are sitting for a funeral...lol...but can interpret in many different ways depending on our subjective vision. I believe these are many single shots put together and the models never posed all together like this. It would have had a whole different vibe. I personally like the cover very much. But i wish there were 20 different covers than this. This is just a cover with many single photos stiched together and this is the only thing i might not like. But the idea to put all these iconic models on a cover is brillant. Although it has been done many times in many different ways. It is just another cover with many big models together.

  14. Aaaa, i did not see that your question was about the old Italian Amica cover. I thought it was about the images in the last post here. As for the Amica cover, i have no idea who shot it, i do not have it in my collection. But Amica does not always use Italian photographers, it could be anyone.
  15. It is Steven Meisel
  16. You are very wellcome! He did amazingly well indeed, but he is a great model, so it is no surprize. I thought nobody is checking this thread anymore, but since there is at least one person appreciating my posts, i can continue sharing my Garrett collection here!
  17. All big models deserve recognition, but no matter what we think or what we say or what our preferences are, i do not think models should be leveled at all. They were all a part of the same business and they had similar jobs working for the same clients and magazines. I do not know why you are kinda angry at this new documentary. I guess the name of it should have been different. As i said previously, i suppose the fact that these big 4 names are of top models who come from countries who dictate the whole world and it must play a role in the choice. But that music video and the January Vogue UK cover play a role, too. And of course nobody can deny the importance of these Iconic 4.
