I know I´m way too late for the conversation and have absolutely no intentions to spur it further. However I have to say that I totally agree with you Pheno on here and I´m glad to see someone pushing this kind of thinking. From the genetics point of view, race does not exist: http://wupa.wustl.edu/record_archive/1998/10-15-98/articles/races.html Perceiving races or seeing people based on their skin alone is not only racist - it´s simply narrow-minded. Don´t get me even started on the many TONES of the skin that there are (what is the skin tone that separates black from white??), and with the world being more open each decade, I hope people will soon understand that there is no black, no white, no yellow - there are just people. People are colorful.They come in various shapes and colours. It goes well with some patterns and bad with others. You have to keep that in mind when dressing yourself What are we talking about here is, as Pheno rightly pointed out, ethnics. And, as Pheno once again rightly pointed out (and most of you had problems to understand), ethnics addresses to groups of people based on their culture, not skin tone. You can´t put people in boxes based on their skin tone - you´re totally ignoring his/her actual persona, his/her culture, beliefs, language, the way the person identifies him/herself as a part of some ethnic group. The skin does not matter. Is Gisele less Brazilian because she is "white"? No. Is my French friend less French and more African because he is "black"? Hell no. I´m so tired of the whole race concept. It´s wrong on so many levels, and above that, scientifically implausible. BUSTED. The article is very nice and I recommend everyone to read it

It´s such a shame that beautiful girls like her think they need to enhance their body artificially to look even better....

Though I agree with Dave on Josephine having LOTS of potential, I can see what you mean with Jojo´s face. It´s not very classically beautiful, but well, neither is Ale´s and neither was Gisele´s. Josephine is intelligent, wise, well-spoken and has a lots of personality. She is a perfect role model for girls/young women and she has a lot to say. Plus her personality is embracing. The line-up of Elsa, Jac, Sara and Josephine + possibly Taylor (who is drop-dead gorgeous) could be a strong one and has a potential to last and capture the attention of people. Sara is showing lots of personality lately (gotta love her for that ) but I guess it´s not happening tomorrow Bregje is not only a little bit too edgy face-wise, but she´s also lacking the energy - she seems like a very tame girl, even in SI they described her as one of the most soft-spoken models they ever had. I would love her to become the catalogue and show regular though, her body is to die for. And I really like that Elsa´s outfit. Even the "wings" lol

She is amazing, I can't believe such a beautiful woman isn't cast. I actually never quite understood why VS kept casting her. Throughout all the shows I´ve seen with her, she was always quite forgettable for me Same goes for Stammy. Never perceived any of these two sexy or outstanding. Great editorial models, yes, but great for VS, no.
