It's okay I was just suggesting you do the A/B/C grouping if you want to continue with the totals - there's no need to do that with averages. In terms of how you do it with averages - exactly the same as you're doing now, but at the end of each group you just divide the totals by the number of votes. eg. Round 1, Group 1, 30 votes Alyssa Miller: 98.75 / 30 = 3.292 Ariadne Artiles: 54.9 / 30 = 1.830 Barbara Palvin: 94.5 / 30 = 3.150 Constance Jablonski: 52.9 / 30 = 1.763 Hailey Clauson: 70.6 / 30 = 2.353 Round 2, Group 7, 43 votes Dioni Tabbers: 44 / 43 = 1.023 Erin Heatherton: 73 / 43 = 1.698 Isabeli Fontana: 97.5 / 43 = 2.267 Josie Maran: 123 / 43 = 2.860 Magdalena Frackowiak: 63 / 43 = 1.465 Zhang Ziyi: 25.5 / 43 = 0.593 You can still add points together between rounds as before. Just a thought though. I'm cool if you just want to stick with totals Thank you I will think about it, still have some time do you think it would be more fair?

I like (Y) If I can make a suggestion though, how about taking averages rather than totals? Example: Model A = insanely popular Model B = moderately popular Model C = not well known In round 1, Model C is bound to pick up more votes by being put together with Model A than she would with Model B. If you took averages, then everything is scaled fairly and total number of votes don't matter <_< donny, but this competition is really about popularity - not the most beautiful or with the best body, but the most popular models on this forum right now, that´s why I took on the total number of points system through the whole competition. I could create groups where the most popular would be together with the not well known models in round 1 (where you have to rate every woman from 0 to 5) so they could gain more points - if it would work, dunno? Would it be more fair? How do you mean it with the averages? Tell me more, I can take it into consideration of course. I like the totals thing, but the point is that the Model C types pick up extra votes by being put in with Model A types, simply because there's more people voting in that group, which is a lesser reflection of their true popularity. It's probably better to group together models of equal popularity - A's with A's, rather than A's with C's. You'd get the best results with 1 model per round, but that would just take way too long and everyone would get bored. Either that or everyone at once, but that's not practical either I just thought with averages it scales all the results to more of an even playing field, with the most popular still scoring highly. I see what you mean about it taking away somewhat from the popularity angle though <_< So you suggest grouping A with A and C with C and B with B in groups - I can do this (I think) - how would you do it with averages? I mean, after one group is over, what and how would you count? Like the number of points given to each model / number of people who voted? I´m sorry donny, you have to explain it to me - my mind is not working right now, lol.

What's your preferred VS body type?

These are all semi-actresses or semi-musicians and one attention w*ore. We´re talking about models, aren´t we?- The Official Victoria's Secret Thread
Why stop it? I think it brings up many interesting opinions and I like good conversation a lot. First thing, I agree with you on the diversity (and I love Jarah Mariano) just like I said before and more freckles are never a bad thing too You stated many sexy women that are of different body kinds, so I think you got my point Second thing, I find Behati extremely beautiful, womanly and of endearing and great personality. Of course you don´t have to like her, but to say she looks like 10year old boy is a little bit... exaggerative and it sounds stupid (sorry). Third thing, I´m not skinny at all and I don´t find VS catalogues abusive or making me feel bad. I like to admire all the kinds of beauty and don´t feel jealous for those body types I don´t belong in. There are many other catalogues in which I found many body types by the way - at least here in my hometown I tell you one thing wildflower and please think about it really deeply. Anorexia and bulimia are illneses that come from wtihin - it´s useless to shame fashion industry for it. These are just excuses for your own defections. My friend suffered from anorexy and through that episode of her life I learned a lot. It wasn´t because of fashion or thin models - it was inside of her, it was a scream that sounded like "notice me! Look at me!". She was ill, her psychic was ill, and all she wanted was attention from her family - and the only attention she got was mine. It took a long time but finally she "healed over" - but the little girl that screams "notice me!" will stay inside of her forever and it has nothing to do with fashion industry. I highly suggest you some Freud works, it´s unbelievable how many neurosis and hysteria originates in childhood and is caused by your own family - including bulimia and anorexia. People should stop blaming others for their own mistakes and try to dedicate time to their children, and make them feel special and beautiful and learn them to value themselves. THIS is the most important thing. You cannot change the whole world - but you can change that little bit that surrounds you. I know many won´t agree with me, it´s hard to admit your own fault, and it´s always easier to say "fashion is to blame for anorexia and bulimia!" but the truth is, we have it all in our hands. It´s not like fashion designer is standing by you with gun aimed at your head screaming at ya "Don´t dare to eat it, you small fry!" is it? I´ve been admiring models for years, but never even thought about trying a single stupid diet. I didn´t see a sense in it. I still don´t. Yes, we read the mags, we see the models, you can argue with me that they create some kind of "image" of beauty - but in the end WE are those who make decisions. That´s important to realize. You cannot blame Harry Potter books for death of a kid that thought it could fly on a broom, can you? btw Shanina and Barbara are absolutely gorgeous and I love their VS pictures hella lot. And I agree that VS needs more of this and less photoshop!!! - The Official Victoria's Secret Thread
