Soooo. Basically, due to their models aging, VS has to hire new girls but due to the recession they can't pay them a jillion bucks, so they "invented" Supermodels contracts, which are basically Angels with more print and commercial work and less spokespersoning and paycheck. Before that, very few models were used regularly by VS while not being Angels. Oluchi Oweagba, Ana Beatriz Barros and Emanuela de Paula, as well as Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr before they were made Angels are the only ones I can think of. Lily's status is currently up in the air (as is Marisa's for different reasons). It is rumored she'll be made a Supermodel but we'll have to wait and se whether it truely happens (think Emanuela, who almost became an Angel but didn't quite get there). But to be quite honest, VS has never been very good at clarifying stuff. I know. And water comes in between. When I posted that comment, I just wanted to stress that it's the dieting part that makes you lose weight, not the exercising part. And now this talk is about to get deleted. Also no word for what? Me not clearing up whether or not I know that a certain Beaver with an extra e?

Actually what I meant, is that through exercising, in the long run, your lose fat yet at the same time build muscles and thusly don't end up losing any weight. The calories are just being stored elsewhere, where it fits the body's purpose better. It is in the human body's nature to adjust its intake to the amount of calories it burns. But I dumbed it down. That'll teach me.Then again, I take someone who believes in detox diets insulting my intelligence as a compliment. Who else looks like a teenage boy? Just ask this girl.On a side note, a new "Secret Moment" (Alessandra's perfumes) is gonna come out soon, according to VS's facebook. It'll be called Kissing in Paris.

This bra is like the VS kiss of death, except if your name rhymes with "gloom". Which, come to think of it, makes me want Alessandra or Adriana to get it.

Fun fact Candice: It's the football (soccer) world cup in South Africa, not the rugby one (which happens on uneven years). I don't see the connection between those two sentences of yours. I don't like that new VS girl. They used to hire voluptuous grown women, now they all look like teenage boys. :x

TBH, if you go by commercials only they haven't been using Miranda, Doutzen and Marisa for much else than Christmas commercials. But Doutzen is featured heavily as their "athletic" girl, Marisa is their "swim" girl... VS does very few commercials each year and keeps reusing the smae ones over and over again (like the previous SAS one). Don't ask VS to make sense. Ever.To be honest, at times it feels like they need to throw some US models here and there to show patriotism but that's it and they don't use them remotely as much as their other models since Tyra left. (Although Heidi is now at least half-American, which is probably why they stopped using her, I guess <_< )

To be quite honest, if I were Adriana, I'd be pissed. Every time there could bee some big buzz about her, somebody steals her thunder. For instance, she finally gets the FB but Heidi get that ridiculously huge jewelry thing on her outfit. She is supposed to have her big come-back and all people talk about is Rosie. Also, considering VS was able to do this: this: and even this: getting this: as a comeback really sucks.

What matters is: it's the first one we saw. And of course VS has a lot more planned. I would too, if I had paid a woman millions per year to do work and lost one of those year because she had a baby. (Please do not read this as me being against maternity leaves)
