Chanel has done the Nakeds, the Semi-Annual Sale, a whole lot of PINK... I too think it's Doutzen but I wouldn't mind any of their models (except Candice).

I love how athletic has basically become a euphemism for some other word in fashion. It could be Heidi's legs too. And TBH, I wouldn't have thought I'd see Adriana in US Vogue again so, yeah...

Well half of VS's "Supermodels" are blond. Though since she seems a bit taller than Miranda, it should be Erin, Lindsay or Doutzen, assuming the heels are the same height.

I just think that VS is very good at publicity. Anything that happens to their models is a way for them to get more press, they use a lot of modern platforms like Facebook and Twitter, they celebrate almost every other day for a reason or another... It's not just FW and SS, it never stops.

At 37, married to Seal and mother-of-4, Heidi is still a femme fatale. We have met her in LA, where she lives during part of the year, at the launch of Project Runway's 7th (!) season. This hit reality series shows all kinds of "fashionistas", designers-in-training and catwalk stars, with Heidi working as host and one of the judges. When I first started, there were thousands of models who were prettier than me. At the VSFS I'm almost ordinary. My husband finds me beautiful, at least I hope so, but some other man may not. Women can only do that much to look their best, but you can't please everybody. Style icon? I really like my friend Eva Longoria (Heidi had a small part in DH). Project Runway has fashion icons like Lauren Hutton and numerous hot young actresses like Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba as guests. World without fashion would be... I honestly don't know. Fashion influences life in so many ways. Young people on the streets have a big influence on designers. They don't have much money but they are so creative when it comes to clothes, they make them cool. And designers recycle ideas all the time, from vintage clothing but also from art and music. Even in our economy, fashion is something that's alive and strongly linked to our society. Hope it wasn't too crappy.

Basically, due to their models aging, VS has to hire new girls but due to the recession they can't pay them a jillion bucks, so they "invented" Supermodels contracts, which are basically Angels with more print and commercial work and less spokespersoning and paycheck. Before that, very few models were used regularly by VS while not being Angels. Oluchi Oweagba, Ana Beatriz Barros and Emanuela de Paula, as well as Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr before they were made Angels are the only ones I can think of. Lily's status is currently up in the air (as is Marisa's for different reasons). It is rumored she'll be made a Supermodel but we'll have to wait and se whether it truely happens (think Emanuela, who almost became an Angel but didn't quite get there). But to be quite honest, VS has never been very good at clarifying stuff.
