Aging gracefully is, I am convinced, the ultimate chic. BB did age with dignity but I guess she gets more scrutinized for being a former sex-symbol. Yes, but also because she didn't have any plastic surgery; she accepted her age, unlike Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, and later Cher, Priscilla Presley and many others... Some people can't handle naturally aged women, they admire plastic faces instead. BB can afford best plastic surgery, but obviously she has better things to do. I like that about her alot! i agree with vanina when she says brigitte was more scrutinized not just for beying a sex symbol in the past famous in the whole world,which makes it bigger,but i think when someone is really beautiful,specially women,people want this person to be beautiful the entire life.if brigitte was ugly as younger,people would probably say:well she was ugly,now she`s more because she`s old.and that`s all. but just because she was so beautiful peoplein general tend to find such a pitty she`s old now. i saw some comments the other day,when they post her young photos besides to her current photos(which really annoys me)and almost everybody says:oh,i can`t beliebve that`s the same person who did and god created woman.or once,in some forum,a member complained about posting pictures of bb aged.excuse me?these guys thought she woul,or should,remain in the same age,after all these years?nobody has done it till now.i admit,i used to think the same as them.just a long while after that i realized how stupid i was.that`s in general culture,not accept aging.but now,and here i agree with child,i really can find her beauty nowadays.i never heard exactly what she said about muslins,and if she had prejudice,i probably don`t agree with her but i really love how she dosn`t try to hide her age.and i can find the young brigitte in her when seeing the interviews,some old women don`t like to have long hair but she keeps her amazing long hair and i see she still has that energy.and she said she was really unhappy in the past,didn`t she.now s`he is matter and that`s what matters anyway. ps:have you noticed ,that now it is looking more like a forum.as we are relly having a conversation instead of only posting photos? not that i`m complanning about the amazing photos.i just find i funny.

oh ,thank god some of you showed up!i was missing you,please don`t leave this forum without any explanation. .vanina i only have these. ok,as a brigitte admirer,i`m not angry about the the beyoncé comparison story.first:i dont`like rap and many of its singers dont`know what they`re talking with the exceptions of some.(only my point of vision). jay-z is probably talking more to beyoncé than to brigitte.and it`s good.for me,he says beyoncé is so beautiful,that she can be the black brigitte bardot.(although i disagree about beyoncé being so beautiful as bb),brigitte is used here as a mark to say that a woman is beautiful,because she looks even just a little bit like bb.ok,we can see all brigitte`s influence in beauty and fashion just because of it,and my happy.but,i must say i get a little tired of seing sooooo many women who want to look like her.and the midia doesn`t help triying to say just because a woman has long blond hair,full lips,a sligthly round face and big eyes,magazines and put the make -up and hair the same way as brigitte did.it shows again all her influence,but sometime it`s just foolish.that`s the case of claudia,georgia jagger and a bunch of women,drag-queens and knows who else.we don`t need to take this song so seriously(i doubt brigitte cares about it)its only merit is celebrating brigitte`s beauty and talent(that`s her song anyway)and by consequence it`s a homage for france. i think georgia resembles her father,i saw a photo of them somewhere.but as i said,full lips,long light hair,round face,big eyes and the press screams:"that`s the new brigitte bardot!".it just proves her influence,none of these women will last as she does only for copying her look .they are the news now but they`ll pass and she keeps being brigitte.
