I'm actually a little sad to see her doing it. I mean, who do they get for the casts of Celebrity Apprentice? They get people like Rod Blagojevich, the disgraced politician. They get reality-show kings and queens, shameless publicity hounds, and B-list/has-been actors and celebrities. What other models have done the show? Selita Ebanks, and Brande Roderick? I think Selita is pretty, and a good model, but no way could you compare Niki's career in fashion to Selita's. NO WAY. I guess they also had Carol Alt. But Carol's career is quite different from Niki's. And Niki is going to be on the show now with Jose Canseco, and Richard Hatch from Survivor? Yuck. I mean, you're defined, at least a little, by the company you keep, and just ... YUCK. It's a game-show, so maybe you can say she's doing it "for fun", but she's going to be on there week after week calling Donald Trump "Mister Trump", and answering to his children, and groveling not to be "fired". It just seems like this is a LONG way for her career to fall. It makes me sad. I wonder if she is having financial trouble. I hope not. I hope the show goes well for her, but it makes me sad to find that she is doing it.

edit: Sorry, typed without thinking. Also a little bit dizzy, since the Giants just won the World Series!!! But that is indeed from Sports Illustrated. I remembered the companion pic, the sort of elongated stretch, but not this one.

Oh, one more thing. If the picture is really important to you, and you don't get a better lead than Carrie, you could try looking through eBay. There might be a clippings bundle for Carrie Nygren that will have the picture you are trying to find, or something similar.

Early 90s would be right for Carrie. But, also for a lot of other models. You could try FAMAMOCA http://www.famamoca.com/ but I just tried it, and there was nothing with Carrie that is a profile-view, or that matches your picture. Posting for help in Carrie's thread was a good idea. (Y)

Do you have any more information or context? Where is this from? It might be Carrie Nygren. You could see here for example, which has a gallery.

Hi Punk! Are you sure that is from the 1997 Diary? I have the Sports Illustrated 1997 Swimsuit Desk Diary, and those pages are not in it. Niki is also not in it. I got my copy used, so the pages could have been removed by a previous owner, but there do not appear to be any missing pages from my copy.
