I wonder if it might be Linda Evangelista??? With the sunglasses, I find it hard to tell. But the size of the phone, the smoking, and the style of the sunglasses would make it about right for Linda and the apparent age of the photo.

Niki is here in San Francisco! For a Reader's Digest event. http://blogs.sfweekly.com/thesnitch/2011/0...niki_taylor.php I'm going to try to go! There's probably no way I'll get to meet her or be able to ask a question (because of the venue, I bet I won't even get to within 100 feet), but what 1 question would you ask Niki?

But it was a successful appearance for her. And an early exit probably helped her. She exited without any kind of ugliness. It's an ugly venue, and the whole "boardroom" scenario promotes confrontation and ugliness. But it all reflected well on her, and she looked like a professional with integrity and grace. That's very positive. I realize she will have wanted to earn more money for her charity, but her appearance was a victory for her.

Hi Bud, thanks for your answer. SI's editorial choices are/have indeed been strange. It's puzzling that they omitted her from the magazine issue. Since she's in the calendar, or one of the calendars, I suppose the language is "Niki shot with SI in 1999".

If that is information from NBC (the television network), I would guess it was supplied or verified by Niki or her management. But as far as I know, Niki was NOT in the 1999 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. She was in the 1997 and 1998 editions, but not 1999. I am not aware of any picture attributable to 1999, I have triple-checked the online version provided by SI, and you could also check FAMAMOCA for example http://www.famamoca.com/index(Niki_Taylor).php Can anyone supply a picture or other evidence that she was in the 1999 SI Swimsuit edition?

New York Times article about "Anna Nicole", the opera! http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/13/arts/mus...?pagewanted=all Royal Opera House: http://www.roh.org.uk/whatson/production.aspx?pid=13802- Tatjana Patitz
If you absolutely must see anything with Tatjana, she appears in a segment of the current euromaxx, the news magazine of Deutsche Welle. The segment is about the opening of the new "Catwalk Bar" at the Berlin Marriott hotel (broadcast date 01 February 2011 here in the USA). For some reason, I can't get YouTube to work correctly for me right now, but some links: http://www.dw-world.de/dw/0,,7555,00.html I don't use iTunes, but euromaxx episodes appear to be available for download for free: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/euromax...ope/id325815563- Helena Christensen

Good job, fender! It's very very good. With the larger image size, you can see the texture of the strokes. It's nice. Thanks for posting.- Niki Taylor

Those are great, Minerva! Never seen them before!- Veronica Blume
Yes. Judit Masco. (Valeria's first appearance in SI is 1996.) Yes. page 92-93. You could try FAMAMOCA http://www.famamoca.com/index.php . The search I did was +blume +romijn +masco Just searching for Rebecca would have worked too. There will be a link to SI's Vault (which has the complete issue).- Cindy Margolis

AhleyN: What an amazing collection. So many things I had never seen before. Wow. Great collection of Revlon ads too. There used to be "Simply the Best", a Cindy fansite (and a good/extensive one). I don't know what happened to the site, if it moved to a new URL I can't find, or what. You can sometimes get info from those sites, even after they disappear, by visiting the Wayback Machine. http://www.archive.org/web/web.php They have archived part of STB. http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://simplythebest-cindy.com/- Christie Brinkley
