No spoils, what they are doing with the history of Jesse and Tulip is fucking phenomenal The whole backstory of everything they have been setting up this season is shockingly effective. I always loved the comic back story but the new one is just wow.

It's not a fact of not caring, it's a fact that the herd of sheep who follow this show religiously can't give a full informed opinion on what makes it "great" 75-90% of the arguments I read/hear are "OMG IT'S AMAZING, JON SNOW PLEASE FUCK ME OMG, YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A TRY, YOU NEED TO WATCH PAST SEASON 1/2 THEN IT GETS GOOD GEORGE RR MARTIN IS A GENIUS AND HE'S AMAZING YOU CAN'T FIGHT THAT EVEN IF HE CAN'T WRITE THE BOOKS FAST ENOUGH IT'S SO GOOD, THEY KILLED MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER SO NOW I HATE EVERYTHING BUT I WANT TO WATCH THAT CHARACTER GET KILLED NEXT CAUSE EVERYONE SEEMS TO DIE EXCEPT MY TRUE LOVE AND KING OF MY HEART JON FUCKING SNOW." I can honestly count 20-30 I know/met that have given me one if not all of those excuses and you see the same online. The people that do differ and have informed opinions on it make good points about what makes it a good show but honestly they are few and far between in my experience. Plus, I see more and more people now just watching it cause everyone else does so they wanna be happy in the herd and carry on their happy little lives so they don't feel left out from their friends and have something in common to talk about. Honestly, GoT the fandom is more a take on modern society being so scared to not go with the norm when every major outlet everywhere watches it and the drones sound the same as each other Counter: Breaking Bad was similar (I personally love Breaking Bad) in the way people flocked to it and sang it's praises yet putting aside the personal feelings for the show, the feel was different there wasn't this huge obsession to the point of insanity as GoT has where if you did not like Breaking Bad you were "a terrible person who has no taste and clearly can't appreciate good TV" , even the most basic of Breaking Bad followers generally had some form of an indepth reason why they liked it, not just CAUSE MY BUDDY FRED SAID IT WAS GOOD SO IT HAS TO BE GOOD AND I WILL WATCH IT BECAUSE SOMEONE TOLD ME SO, though there were mindless cretins such as that too Just less of them

From Imgur: Personally it's shocking seeing the huge difference in America vs Canada, though America has so many things we don't get, we never will get and won't have things such as this bring it back into perspective for myself. Talking to the couple of american's I know the wage scales just flabbergast me for the same work in Canada vs America, as well as health care and other things that get taken for granted up here.
