Damn, that must of been a hard pill to swallow for Toni that she didn't get casted. I can't believe they would do her dirty like that, especially since she has walked the show for so long and has even hosted VS events. I don't get how someone like Sigrid gets cast but not Toni. Ugh.. Gigi's body looked great, but I agree that her walk lacked energy. Hopefully next year!

She has the life models dream of haha. Also, why is it that Adriana's hair always looks sooo good at talk shows and events, and always sucks for the show?! Damn. It was so lifeless at the show but here it looks amazing!!

It was filmed the day before the show, most likely during rehearsals. Behati was talking about it in interviews the morning off the show in hair and make-up. Only Karlie is in her after-party dress.

Can someone please please make gifs (or a long gif) of Adri and Candice dancing together?! Wish Elsa was in the video too! Plus side though is that with less girls we got more of each in the video.

The video felt so...low energy? Only Karlie, Behati, and Lily seemed truly committed. I liked the scenes with Adriana and Candice. They looked hot. Also, what the hell is with the lighting?! I wish we could actually see the girls properly! I hate all the shadows and quick cuts. Did anyone notice that Karlie was wearing her after-party dress? I think Adriana was also wearing Ale's after-party dress? haha I wish there were scenes of the girls dancing together. Candice and Adriana was a real treat though!

Is it just me, or has Ariana received practically no attention for the show this year? Even in the VS videos, she's rarely shown. There aren't very many backstage pictures of her either, or any BTS pics of her with the models. Pretty much all the models took a pic with Taylor, yet no pics of Ariana. Strange.

Are there any videos with Olivier Rousteing interviewing the models?

The closest thing is probably Abercrombie & Fitch, but they are all no-name models. VS really made it big by using a semi-permanent roster of supermodels to maintain that angel status and prestige. We can argue all we want about how the angels of today have absolutely nothing on the angels of the past, but at least they are still relevant in the media and fashion circles.

Love her. She's one of the few new faces this year for VS that I absolutely 100% agree with. She reminds me a bit of a young Ana BB. Wishing her a great career! I hope VS works with her more.

Think Erin, Izabel, Selita, Sara (to some extent), Bregje, etc. Maybe Lindsay Ellingson will do SI next year? Just curious, but how do you guys think high fashion models' agents view SI Swim? It used to be that doing the VS show was considered high fashion 'death,' but now girls are doing both with no problem. Does SI still carry an image of 'cheapness' to it? Or do you think agents push models away from it?

I don't work in the industry (yet..haha I want to eventually work in the business side of it) but I follow many models' careers closely and have contacts with people at agencies and in the know.

I totally agree. They've been going through so many girls, yet haven't found and 'IT' new girl that they could sign. Funny that Stella might be that new girl, considering her BFF Barbara Palvin had the same thing happen to her haha It's strange to me that VS seems to gloss over so many girls that have potential and star power. I really think they should have scooped up Nina Agdal before she became really famous. She even shot PINK a few times. She's no high fashion girl, but she totally fits VS's image. I wish they would work with Gigi Hadid too - the girl wants it and has been becoming more and more famous lately, and her modeling work has improved drastically.

I honestly don't think Kendall's management would want her doing SI. It's very obvious that they have her focusing strictly on high profile, high fashion clients. She's done zero commercial work (with the exception of PacSun, but I think she had a contract with them before she signed to The Society). She will probably jump on the SI train once she's more established in the HF circle. It's clear that her management doesn't want to 'cheapen' her image (hence why she does no commercial work). I've spoken to people in the know, and that's not what I heard. She was cancelled right before fittings in NYC apparently. That would explain why she's been passive aggressive lately with VS. And don't think that established models are exempt from getting shaded by VS. Just think about all the regular girls last year who didn't make it... (Isabeli, Bregje, Shanina, etc) My guess is that VS wanted her, but then realized how many girls they casted, and then cancelled her. VS has been favoring new girls over established girls, which explains why they cast so many newbies this year. It makes sense, considering those girls have a chance to grow in the company. A model like Natasha already has her career, so VS don't need her as much because they know she's done. While it would be a massive treat to have seen Natasha, I understand where VS is coming from.

Any idea when the lip synching video will come out? It's usually out before the show airs to promote the show.

So based on everything said, I'm guessing that 2016 will be a big year in terms of who will/will not be renewed! No one is leaving in 2015 then. The angel line up will be the same for the 2015 show you reckon? I wonder if VS will add anyone else?

Agreed. I wish they went for more dramatic make up and more voluminous hair. Everything looks so watered down.

Martha looks a bit scary in that first gif...it's like she opened her eyes too wide or something. I will never get what VS see in her. She's a huge huge downgrade from all the other blonde Americans VS has had (Lindsay, Erin, Marisa). Agreed. Lily is just as good of friends with Taylor, but still kept her cool and acted like a MODEL.

I agree with everything here. Especially about Doutzen. She's not loved enough by VS to be a staple the way Ale/Adriana is, but they like her enough to keep her around. She will probably pull a Miranda and leave randomly. I think VS has finally reached a stable line-up of girls, where every girl has a clear purpose and stands out. In 2010, you could basically stick Lindsay, Erin, and Candice all together. There were just too many angels. Lily's career will die without VS. It's pretty much the only reason why she's relevant. She doesn't have high fashion to fall back on, and I feel like commercial brands use her solely because of her VS popularity. Totally agree about Karlie. She has way too many other projects going on to need to stay with VS much longer than her original contract. Also, does anyone know the contract spans of the current angels (except for Adriana/Ale)? When are Behati and Candice due for renewal?

I agree with most of this. But I don't think Elsa will be that overused because VS seems to be distributing things better these days, 2014 was a good year in terms of spotlight for the girls and everyone got their turn to shine so hopefully 2015 will be the same and no one will get sick of anyone. Also, add the fact that while they are the same age Elsa looks a lot younger which, I told Pretty the day of the show that Elsa is 26 and she thought i was kidding. Which means Elsa more likely to stay with VS for another five years, probably by that time Alessandra and Adriana will (hopefully!) be gone which means VS will be in need of a new #1 girl and I honestly don't think Candice (or Behati, Lily and Karlie for that matter) will be around that much longer. A huge part of being a model is aging and Elsa is doing it flawlessly, same can't be said about the others. And last but not least, Elsa is a great spokesperson which is something VS desperately needed these days because all the current Angels except Lily are cringe worthy whenever they speak. Holy shit, Elsa is 26?!?! Damn, I would have never guessed that! I honestly thought she was around 21/22. Once Adriana and Ale leave, I can't think of any model who will take that #1 spot. VS thought it could be Candice, but Candice has already peaked. Behati is definitely being lined up for that #1 spot, but again, I think she will eventually peak the way Candice did. 2015 will definitely be Behati's year. They wouldn't have her opening the show if they didn't have something big planned for her.

Oh Natasha... She is indeed exotic. If she was given that outfit, does that makes her the only blonde in ET??? Heartbroken, I'm crying & dying now They probably casted Natasha, realized that there were too many girls and not enough outfits, and cancelled her in favor of the newer girls. Too bad! They've done it before with other established top models too. VS is shadier than you think.
