Henman lost to some Russian guy But Murray beat the world no.13 (can't remember his name) which is awesome. He's only 18, ranked around 300 in the world and he's already beaten world no.13. Good stuff for British tennis.

Thanks. I am a guitar teacher, so i'm supposed to be impressive. I think i'll do another one soon. I'll do Samba Pa Ti (by Santana) and Smoke on the Water (by Deep Purple) just for the hell of it.

That'll probably scare a lot of people...it's good though. Here's one of mine. I think Red and Avenger have already heard this one. It's very rough recording, but you can still hear it. It's just a random collection of bits of songs that I could remember at the time. I get pretty fast but not as fast as some others. If you like this one I can do another soon. Me Messing Around
  5. You've never seen "superlative", "transcendent" and "virtuosic" before? Really?

Bit of nostalgia there Red? Buddy Guy should be good. He must be getting on a bit now. Still uses really heavy strings, like 14's or something.

I like The Beatles. Top ten? 1. Blackbird 2. Get Back 3. Lady Madonna 4. Hey Jude 5. Back in the USSR 6. Eleanor Rigby 7. Norwegian Wood 8. While My Guitar Gently Weeps 9. Let It Be 10. Day Tripper As for The Beatles corrupting music, I don't think that's true. A lot of the musci was simple pop music, but a lot of it was very interesting. Violins had not been used in a pop record before Eleanor Rigby in the same melancholic style (ie. not a soul record). George Harrison used a lot of jazz chords as well - Norwegian Wood even has an alt. chord in there somewhere I think...

I used to tease my girlfriend for being so bad at driving. She was really, really bad. She only passed the test because she wore very very very very provocative shorts. So to prove her driving competence to me, she used to give me these pieces of paper that she said were complimenting her on her driving. So you know what they said? "Parking fine"

Oh I do apologise for infringing basic laws of etiquette. Who am I to question primary school logic such as that? I'm not calling you a man. You are quite clearly a chicken, or maybe some elf thingy. I'm done. I'll go do man things like watch football and drink beer.

This thread becomes unexpectedly hilarious if you imagine a man saying everything.
