^ Gia was without a doubt a supermodel. Gia dominated the fashion world for about two years ( she shot to the top and then fell quickly due to her personal life), and there is no doubt that she was super. The term supermodel being used to define a model who is a household name only started in the late 80s and early 90s. Gia was the first supermodel, but that doesn't make her " better" than any of the rest of them ( although IMO she's the best.)

adriana without question. Megan is a fittie, but she's not a supermodel.

Kate has an amazing face in photos but I met her once when I worked at Topshop and... eeeeerrrr, yeah, she wasn't much to write home about really! But if I met Laetitia I'm like 99% sure my heart would stop, so Laetitia. She's got the face and the body. IMO, any straight male who finds Kate Moss more attractive than Laetitia maybe needs to re-evaluate his sexuality!

I love Adriana ( and she's winning by a long shot) but in her heyday Angie was just... I mean, she was phenomenal. Her beauty had an energy of it's own, it was powerful... so it's got to be Angie for me! xx

Marilyn, hands down. I love BB and she's amazing, but Marilyn has a magic about her that has left millions upon millions of hearts racing for generations. I just love her.

I love Joe It's sort of funny that this thread is never off the first page in the 'actresses' forum, and yet basically it's just because of our constant Megan talk -- there aren't all that many photos! I think I might just start avoiding commenting on Megan in this thread unless she does something major, like starts dating Barak Obama or something

I really don't want to judge Megan, but no one is pretty or talented or whatever enough to treat people like the Transformers crew claim she treated them. I hope she can get a little bit of reality slammed into her and change her attitude. Otherwise I fear it might be ta-ta for Megan...

^^ Her make-up is cool at comic-con and the IDEA behind her outfit is cool... but IMO something about it is off. Not sure what it is. Also, that quote by Megan on Bay is hilarious! Is the part where she says he's socially retarded supposed to be her " favorite thing" about working with Bay? Megan's main fan base is drooling teenage boys... so saying she's psychotic was probably not a good move! I can imagine that might be a bit of a turn-off. She still looks great though, and it's fantastic to see in that third photo that she can still scowl and wrinkle her brow unlike most Hollywood actresses

So suprised that there is such a tiny River Phoenix thread here. I will need to take some time to update it. I don't think being young is an excuse. I'm 24 and I work a 40+ hour a week schedule, I don't party, and I don't say stupid, outrageous things. I think it's just her personality. Young starlets like Scarlett Johansson, Kristin Kruek, Jessica Alba, Taylor Swift, etc aren't out there saying crazy things or lying to the press about their sexual past. Maybe some of it is the media, but after awhile you have to wonder if that is really just her. If the media is skewing things, then maybe she needs to hire a better publicist. By the way, I liked Transformers and I think Jennifer's Body will be pretty entertaining. Good post It's true that many young stars like the ones you listed deal with their fame in a graceful sort of manner and handle their image well. Still, just because one person can do something doesn't mean everyone can. It's fair enough to say, " Kristin Kruek is young and she doesn't embarrass herself by saying stupid things in interviews" but that doesn't mean we can use this against Megan because everyone is different and everyone's personality deals with things differently. Some people are amazing under pressure, some totally breakdown, and some just act really weird! I guess I'm just trying to be understanding! Lol! Oh, and if the press decide to go after you, create an " image" of you, and twist your words, it's been proven many times that even a good publicist can't save you! Sad fact. Also, I'm just curious, but how did Megan lie about her sexual past? Is this the bi thing? Yes, I'm looking forwards to Jennifer's Body too. I dunno if I'll go and see it, but it will probably be a fun movie.

Does anyone else think that young Helena and young Rain(bow) Phoenix share a sort of common look? Sometimes I open pictures of Helana and think they're Rain in their thumbnail form!

^ Awesome photos. That first one is stunning! I don't think there's anything wrong with her personality. I guess we need to bare in mind that: 1. She's only 22-23. She's young. 2. She's experiencing an almost scary and very sudden boost in her career. She's not been at the " everyone will judge you based on what you say to this one interviewer" game long. She's maybe feeling nervous, which can result in coming across overconfident. 3. The media kind of want her to seem like a "bad b*tch" ( They have a love-hate thing with Megan, I think) so they seem to manipulate a lot of what she says IMO. I'm not saying Megan is amazing because I don't know her, but I actually think she carries herself rather well by not partying too much, keeping her interests private, etc. On another note, I don't judge Megan based on her surgery, although I admit I did feel weirdly disappointed when I "found out" her amazing looks were somewhat surgically installed! I think a hell of a lot of women do now that the surgery rumors are becoming common knowledge, though! When is Jennifer's Body out, btw? The tagline to this movie is awesome: " She's evil... and not just Highschool evil."

Yes, I'm also shocked by the amount of small, flat butts that people on fashion forums seem to think are " sexy" ( not BZ, but fashion forums). I would much rather have a large, round, super toned butt like Keyra's than a tiny flat one like some of the VS girls have. Go on any mens forum and the girls winning the best butts polls all have a little sumthin sumthin I think the fact Vida Guerra only has 3 votes just demonstrates what I mean! This girls ass is amazing. It's basically the only reason she's famous! Lol! And it's beautiful! But fashion minded people would not think to vote for her, I guess, because she does not have an incredibly pretty face or any style to speak of...

^ It was 17 odd yrs ago but I think that preformance is still stuck in a lot of peoples minds. I'm 19, so I was a baby when it came out, and it's even stuck in my consciousness. I just think they should bring a less common villian to the screens for the next film. Anyway, this has nothing much to do with Megan now since she's not actually linked to the films by anything but rumor! xx
