^ Yeah, I really only love her because she's beautiful too. Sometimes in int's she's funny, but really it's just the face. I've never even seen her in a movie if I'm honest I've only seen clips of her acting... which didn't overwhelm me! I don't want them to bring back Catwoman period. The character has already been done not so long ago and done well. They should bring back a different character that hasn't been used so much in the Batman series. Still, I could see Eva Green in the role if they did do it... but I don't want them too!

^ As always, moiselles is very right! Lindsay has fluctuated from a sexy, curvy shape to anorexic proportions, back again and back again! Her body is basically stretching then shrinking then stretching, so her breasts are likely to have lost elasticity. So, they will sag a little.

I have to say, as much as I REALLY don't want Nolen to bring back Catwoman, A-Aveler, your choices of Eva Green or Cotillard... hmm, they do sort of make the mouth water. Both great actresses with lots of sex appeal. They both demonstrate the certain something needed for one of Nolan's films that Megan doesn't have. Megan has the looks for the role, but that's sort of where it ends for me. I think a lot of women dislike her because of her looks. She is beautiful, there is no denying that. And for most women, that is very threatening. I know when my fiance says "She's just alright..." he's totally lying. ( Miss this bit if you're not interested in a psychological rant, guys! ) That's interesting and very cool of you to admit that . I'm almost bi in the way I look at other women, so i've never been the jealous type... which is maybe bad. A little bit of jealousy can be good at times. But, to be honest, I don't think today a lot of other women are actually jealous of Hollywood stars... because half of Hollywood's females are not very sexy! They've got frozen faces and bodies like 10 year old boys! Does anyone really want to look like that? No. Really, from my deduction I think many girls get a feeling that presents itself in a similar way to jealousy, but it's not jealousy at all... Consider the fact that far more women seemed to love Megan before it "came out" that she had used collegen etc to enchance her beauty. This isn't because women are jealous of Megan per say ( they might be), but I think more so because they feel a strange pressure -- if Megan Fox ( just using her as an example) has used surgery to obtain a look that makes all men weak at the knee's, women feel like they're being told they should be doing the same... but most flesh and blood females don't WANT to change their face and get surgery! It causes a really stupid and unneeded type of insecurity and a feeling of being attacked, and so it results in women hating any celeb they view as being hot because of botox, surgery etc. At a party the other week, I said I thought Megan Fox was hot and basically ever female at the table shouted me down for it! I don't think this was because all of these girls thought Megan was a bitch or that they were " jealous" of Megan's beauty ( some were better looking than Megan by a long shot!), but moreso that Megan represented to them, because of the surgery rumors, that aforementioned pressure to use plastic and scalpels to be "pretty". It's a weird psychlogical issue I've observed a lot lately in our celebrity\beauty obssessed society. It seems to be really prevalent in girls my age ( 19-21; an age when you're finding yourself as a women and dating a lot) and women my mothers age ( 50s; an age were wrinkles etc. take hold). Anyway, freudian rant over! I just think this is really interesting! Lol! Why do women hate Megan so much, when they never seemed ( in my experience) to hate women like Laetitia Casta ( who is often called the most beautiful woman in the world) or Cindy Crawford quite as badly? This is my explination. It's not Megan, really, it's the media.

She's looking rather rough again. Her skin looks like she's about 40! I guess that's what a hard life does to you though. The platinum hair doesn't do much for her either. Also, do her lips look slightly plumper than usual to anyone else? Still, she's lucky that she's naturally pretty enough to look rough and yet still attractive... sort of. I just can't help but feel sorry for Lindsay. I mean, she was a teenage girl and she acted crazy but I think I would have too if I had been in her world at 16...

I have done plenty reading on the subject and that's the conclusion I have come to, and you have come to a different one. It is all very fine! You are a Marilyn fan and a BB expert, so I don't doubt you're knowledge at all. It's just that from my Marilyn and BB knowledge, I have come to a different conclusion. It's a very debatable subject anyway! Also, I have a huge layman's interest in stars from the past so I am quite aware that BB and Marilyn are very different ( and IMO, neither are as amazing as Jean Harlow, who SHOULD be on any sexiest woman's list). I don't need any more education on that, although again it's lovely of you to offer. You're very sweet. To me, Marilyn is the greatest icon and the sexiest woman for things that go beyond her amazing appearance. That's an opinion, though. It just happens to be shared by many! On another note, it's interesting to see Cindy Crawford and Sharon Stone on a list with BB and Marilyn and Grace etc. They are both sex symbols, definitely, and they were sex symbols of the 90s. It's just weird that the 90s are now far enough away that we can look at these women as icons!

^^ I'm a huge fan of both Marilyn and BB, and I know you both are too Lisa and Stefano. Still, from my education on this subject ( which I'm not claiming to be absolutely perfect, but damn good) I just don't agree with what you guys are saying about BB being more popular in the USA than Marilyn was in the 50s and 60s. From my reading and also from family I have in the USA who were young in the 50s-60s, Marilyn was more highly thought of in the USA than BB at that time, and BB was more highly thought of in Europe ( hence, many American's called her the European Monroe, even though she had been around way longer than Marilyn!). Marilyn wasn't a star because she was gorgeous and a great actor, the public made her a star! She was made a star by the publics affections for her, and that's basically just a recognised fact these days. The studio's didn't love her, many actors didn't love her, and she didn't get great roles at first, but the American public made Marilyn Monroe a star because they adored her. Men wanted to be with her, and woman wanted to be her even if they " disaproved" of her celebrity. If the people of 1950's America hadn't taken to her in the legendary way that they did, she wouldn't have neccessarily been such a huge icon. And my only point was that today every person in the world knows the name Marilyn Monroe and can picture her face when they hear the name, but a lot of people can't picture BB just by hearing the name Bardot ( although they probably have an idea of who " Bardot" is). That, IMO, makes Marilyn more of a legend than BB, and that's why Marilyn is considered the " most celebrated woman of the 20th century" ( which is a quote from LIFE magazine, btw). Still, it doesn't really matter. To say BB is not a legend to the highest degree is like saying an apple is not a fruit! I guess the BB or Monroe legend argument is much like the 'James Dean or Brando' legend argument, isn't it? We shouldn't really open that can of worms in the first place! Lol! That's my last on this subject guys! Marilyn and BB are both two of the greatest female stars of all time! Neither of them will ever be matched.

I'm a Megan fan, and sure I don't like absolutely everything about her public image ( I say that because I don't know her personally so I can't say I don't like everything about " her"), but I agree, Frenchkiki, I don't get why people so badly want to insult her and attack her. I guess we just live in a culture that, if anyone gets too famous too quickly, we think they're too big for their boots and want to take them down. Sad. xx

^ I think that's a great interview. Can't imagine what anyone's going to insult her about from that. Also, her attitude towards sex( whether true or not) is a good thing for young girls to read and take to heart. Unlike what so many other starletts have recently portrayed by publically sleeping with everyone, women do have the power to decided if they want to sleep with a guy or not. I say good going to Megan for saying that. In that respect, she's being a good role model. That's the sort of woman's lib we should be embracing as females in the 21st century -- not our right to sleep with every guy who wants us, but our right NOT TO sleep with all of them! Lol! ^ This is probably better discussed over PM's, but actually that's not strictly true. Marilyn was a legendary form long before she died, maybe not throughout the world but definity in the United States, Korea, and the UK. Read news articles about her from the 50s-60s. There are tons written about the " Marilyn Effect", about how she had an effect on people no other star had ever had. I remember watching an old 50s interview with a photographer who described Marilyn as the first female star who really touched people, and made men feel that if they had just married Marilyn their lives would have been okay ( or words to that effect). I would say Bardot's celebrity was smaller than Marilyn's, even in their heyday, but Bardot was bigger in Europe. Still, IMO they are both the most beautiful women of all time. But, after all, Brigitte did say Marilyn was the most perfect woman she ever met, and that after meeting her she aspired to be as lovely ( Bardot didn't need to try and be lovely though!) And the " most celebrated woman of the 20th century" bit is actually a tag that has been credited to Marilyn many, many times. Believe it or not, many people my age ( I'm 19) have no idea who Bardot is, or only know the name. Nobody doesn't know who Marilyn Monroe is! Even my 6 year old cousin somehow knows!

In 2007, I was out shopping in London with my mom when a woman suddenly approached us in a boutique. In the 1950s, this woman was Grace Kelly's make-up artist. She spent hours and hours of her life painting the contours of Grace's face, brushing her skin, studying Grace's looks exactly... So, why did she stop us? Well, she said she just had to, because she had never met anyone who reminded her more of Grace than my mother! I think this has got to be one of the greatest compliments ever given in history.

Aaww Thank you. Really, all of the women on this list are legendary and beautiful, and I love them all . Loren's face remains one of the most perfect of all time, only rivaled by Bardot, and Grace's elegance unmatched. Still, childlike and fragile, Marilyn was Marilyn. She was the most celebrated woman of the entire 20th century. Can anything I say really do her justice? No. Just look at a picture of her and really imagine she was standing infront of you, Marilyn Monroe, as it was once said, " the most lovely woman of them all"...

I remember the first film I ever saw her in was 'Busstop'. There was a moment in the film where she cries... and she really cries. Snot drips from her nose and everything, and she allowed this. She had no vanity. I think that is rare for an actress, and for an actress as beautiful as Marilyn. She was fantastic. I just love her so much.

Was gonna vote for Vida before I noticed you had listed Keyra Agustina. Obviously, this girl is desperate to escape the fame she's got so including her in a thread is sort of a shame but... well, that's a damn fine butt!

^ That's exactly how I feel. If the Batman films were lighter and less serious, having Megan play Catwoman would be fine - she could be average and hot and that would be cool. However, we all know that Nolen's Batman is not a light, fluffy sort of Comic book movie. They're dark and all of the actors thus far have been outstanding. Megan would look hot as Catwoman, obviously! She would look so hot! An editorial with her done up like Catwoman would make me smile wider than anything, but that's different to playing the character in a serious film. Catwoman is a deep and complex character ( for a comic book anyway) and it needs to be done with the same deepness that Heath gave the joker. Can Megan do that? I'm not confident. This is the one ( and only) part of what you said that I disagree with, FrisianGuy. I've never read a comic book, but even I know that Catwoman isn't just some chick jumping around in leather going " Moew" and being a sexpot. It's a very gritty role -- from what I know, Catwoman is supposed to be a former abuse victim who's really unhinged -- and I don't know if Megan could play it any other way BUT sexy. Also, her voice doesn't seem to mesh with Catwoman for me. That's an odd thing to say, but that's just sort of my opinion. I'm not saying Megan is rubbish, but I don't think this would be a good move for her. I'd still like to see a Catwoman phooshoot though! Lol!

Just read that The Sun is apparently reporting that Megan will play Catwoman in the new Batman film. Lol! The sun isn't very reliable though! Personally, I hope it's not true because: A) All of the other actors in the new Batman films are\have been completely amazing ( Bale, Caine, Ledger etc.) and IMO Megan isn't good enough to stand up. B) No one could ever be as good as Michelle Phiffer, so it just seems like a bad move to bring Catwoman back again. Still, I'm sure every person in the world would go to see a movie of Megan with black leather and a whip! Lol! I just don't think she's right for the part though. She's not a good enough actress, so she might come off as nothing but eye candy and I think in a serious film like Batman that would actually damage her reputation rather badly.

I've gone through threads of maybe 200 pages before and that's taken a few hours. 705 pages? That's gonna take forever!! Is it just too hard to make subforums or something? I'm a bit puzzled as to why a thread that is getting this impossibly huge can't be divided up. I would have thought that was an easier solution than just having a mega thread no one can really use!

^ But how can I find them? The problem is that to find all of the great pics in this thread you have to filter through 704 pages! If there wont be a sub, fair enough... but I find that very odd. With a thread this big, it makes way more sense to break it off into different sections so those who want to find pictures can do so with ease and those who want to chat about Laetitia stuff can do so without creating " waffle" Anyway, have Laetitia's Vanity Fair pics been posted with her blonde hair?
