The reporter described it as surreal and like Heathers - been there. Gorgeous - and more importantly popular girls "joking" with you in that way can cut deep, because you're not one of them, and don't really know where you stand. I think Adriana was joking, realized she upset the reporter, and went out of her way to make it up to her later. The thing about the cigarettes on the carpet though... :x Though to me, it's no different than the people who throw butts out the window/in the street/on the grass/beach/whatever. Indoors or outdoors, THE WORLD IS NOT YOUR ASHTRAY. I won't even throw an apple core or orange peel into the grass; litterbugs - especially smokers who seem not to get that their butts are in fact litter - are one of my biggest pet peeves. I'm oddly moved to send her one of those cute little portable ashtrays

Oooh, Heather, do you remember what brand it was/where you got it? That sounds like something I'd love. I like misting my brush with a little perfume. Ralph Lauren perfumes are generally agreeable to me, but I haven't found one yet that I like enough to buy.

Strong scents, and most perfumes, make me feel ill. Fragrance should be a whisper, something you smell when standing very close to a person, not a billowing cloud that makes you want to open the windows when the person leaves. When I was younger, I liked to wear Lily of the Valley essential oil, or a dab of vanilla extract (which guys always seem to like - I think it's because it makes them think you're going to bake for them Right now I wear Jean-Paul Gaultier Classique on some special occasions, and Clinique Happy for "everyday". I prefer the Happy, and it's the best perfume I've found for my body chemistry. My sister wears Burberry Brit, and while I don't like it in the bottle/samples, it smells fantastic on her.

Capt, love your avatar For those that think her face looks a little rounder/chubbier - if you have a roundish face to begin with, wearing a turtleneck can do that to you. I have the same problem. And she is wearing a thick turtleneck sweater under a coat in some of the pics I think she looks thinner than the blonde hair/pink jacket Angels pics.

That makes more sense - I'll ask my Granny if she has one, she usually has the best card available for most stores (and gives me her awesome Bloomingdale's Premiere catalogs Hopefully she hasn't cancelled it, last time I spoke to her about VS she was very uncomfortable about the increasingly naked/provocative covers. I don't like the looks of this issue either. I thought Anne (what a surprise!), Oluchi, and Veronika looked fabulous, but the rest were disappointing - even Ana Beatriz, and she looked so fantastic last year.

Season 1 on DVD is 34.99 now on Amazon. It wound up costing me 14.99 because of a gift certificate I had. Oh happy day! Now the other 6 seasons just have to drop as low...
