So, I just finished watching the show, I'm not going to review every single detail of it but to sum up: The minuses - Bieber fever - The overall music choices were not great (but they haven't been for at least 5 years now, so no surprise there) - Not enough attention on the models - The little segment about the preparation of the show has been done many times - The dating segment :morning: Very much like what they did in 2007 The pluses - Overall good casting - Overall nice outfits - I love Candice so I liked that she got some attention. - They didn't censor every girl's butt this time

This whole "why I stopped working for Victoria's Secret" communication campaign smells fishy to me. Maybe I'm wrong about her, but she comes off as a big attention seeker who got lucky when she won this VS runway angel contest and is still trying to get attention through her short lived relashionship with the brand every way she can.

On a totally unrelated topic from what has been discussed, I'm afraid I'm going to complain about the music this year. Again. After watching the FashionTV video, it's not that much the performers that I mind (although Bieber was dreadful, it sounds like he's not even trying), but the music itself does not fit the runway show. I don't understand what happened. The music selections were always good until 2007. Since then, there have been a few hits but many misses. For instance last year, opening the show with "Make me wanna die" that may be a good song, but with a slow rythm, loud guitars and unaudible drums, that's just not what a runway show needs to bring the energy up.

From the pictures I've seen, I think the girls looked really beautiful, and most outfits are good, but they're are bad, they're really bad (Joan's circus outfit ) My main complaint about the show so far is that I think they are lacking ideas. Of course since this isn't just about lingerie any more but about costumes, they have to come up with very differents things every year. And I really have the feeling that some looks have already been seen on previous years for example : These look like they belong in "Game On" I could swear I've seen this outfit in a previous show (Enchanted Garden ?) ETA: On a positive note, I really liked the casting this year. I will wait for the video to make a definitive opinion but I think all the girls looked good. I'm a bit bummed that Edita, Maryna and Flavia weren't there but I liked the absence of Carolin, Anja and Julia. I also liked the addition of Frida and the return of Isabeli.

Maryna not being there is disappointing. She's beautiful, has a great body and a great walk. Same with Flavia, I think she always delivers. But I will be happy if Edita is there

I've been reading on many websites that Lindsey Wixson would be a good addition to the VS casting. I totally disagree. I don't think she has a direct appeal, and even though she might look sexy in some pictures that doesn't mean that's going to translate to the runway. Lara Stone is a perfect example of that, and at least she has a much better body. At best Lindsey has a cute smile but that's it. Among the models I want to see again, I'd like Edita to come back, I don't understand why she wasn't there last year. I wouldn't mind seeing Magda come back too, and Ana Beatriz, although that's probably unlikely. I'd like not to see Anja Rubik and Caroline Winberg, I don't understand them being on the VS runway at all. I don't like Julia Stegner either, her walk is too awkward for me. For new additions, I'd like to see Yulia Kharlapanova, Andreea Diaconu, Cintia Dicker (one can dream) and Marloes Horst.
The bra looks as if they took a normal bra and "glued" jewelry on it. The result is not bad, but I've seen better.
