Its a short term test, should be over in a week. They are paying a lot of money for 2 weeks. I am working with them to reduce the frequency to 1-2 pages per session.

@Cult Icon Er that's weird. I don't have anything to stop people from blocking ads or doing that popup... Let me investigate. By any chance does it say who created that popup? Like if you hover over the whitelist does it say anything?

I have an app that I want to implement that downloads the image automatically and it will be placed with the post (like any other attached image) and then the link to instagram if the user wants to see more. Would that solve your concerns?

And just to confirm are you logged in at the time when you see that or as a "guest"? I know guests uses a cache that refreshes every X mins. Let me know.

They removed that feature in 4.4 and there is no way to restore it. They removed it because it had a huge performance impact. I can talk to the dev to see if he can re-add but right now I am putting most of my effort on the BZ Redesign, so not sure it will be done before or after that. But I will make a note that its a wanted feature for the next gen of BZ.
