Jaslene. I think she's the prettiest. She's got this jet black, long hair and a really beautiful face. Also, she doesn't seem to be as stupid as some of the other girls (Kathleen anyone?) I really dislike Renee. She seems convinced that because she's a mom, she has to tell all he other girls how to live their lives too. And when Tyra say she could do better a her shoots, all she talks about is that she was distracted because she was thinking about her baby <_< Ugh, in my opinion she might just as well leave now. Jael needs to do something about her talking. I can barely make out what she's saying and she mumbles all the time. Natasha seems to be your avarage bubble brained blonde (though beautiful.) Felicia tries to copy Tyra too much. The two curvy girls seem pretty good though. Well, this is my opinion about them on the first eppy. I'm kinda harsh on them, I guess, but anyway, that's how I feel. They all got potential, but some just ruin it for themselves by acting the way they do. Kind of a boring topic, isn't it? I mean, a "yes" or "no" or even "I dunno" will do. I think I'll add some questions: If yes, 1: What style? 2: Are you doing it professionally (are you taking classes, etc) or did you teach it to yourself? 3: and then ofcourse; Why? (do you dance because you know guys/gals find it sexy or.... ) if no, 1. Why? (i.e. are you afraid you'll look like Daffy Duck on the dancefloor?) Just some questions. Thought that would make it more interesting I'll start. I choose yes. 1: Kind of hiphop/breakdance 2: Kind of a mixed world: I take classes, but they're only once a week so I try to fill it up by teaching myself 3: Well, I'm kinda shy around guys so they're defenitely not the reason why. I just find it a very entertaining way to excersise. I mean, fitness is kinda boring. Plus it looks beautiful and makes you flexible.

Y'know what I find so funny: first when she was dating the prince you ppl were all negative about it with comments like "OMG he's so ugly" and "he's not right for her!" I mean, just look at the people Ana BB dated) and now most of you suddenly picked the Prince's side and started gushing over it saying "poor prince" I mean, what is it about? I see what you're saying, but don't you agree it is a 'dream job'? I mean, you adore Ana BB (that much is obvious) wouldn't you kill for being her for some time? To see and feel what it's like to look perfect, fly all over the world, do photoshoots for famous brands, wear the best and most expensive clothing and to end up on the covers of the most read magazines. And then you've got another big plus: the payroll of a succesful model. Ana is a rich girl now. Yes you're right the only women participating in the industry should be naturally thin people, but it is in us humans to want to be something we are not. For some, starving to fit in a size zero and do a Gucci Fashion show is a dream come true. And about the weight requirements, It's a flawed method. The only way to REALLy find out if a model sufferes from an ED is to analize their hair (which is like the diary of your body.) But that takes time...

Well said and completely true Look at Zhang Ziyi for an instance; I remember when I was young and watched her kick ass in Crouching Tiger, hidden dragon I wished I had her dark eyes and her beatiful sleek and shiny hair, whereas I have messy, wavy hair and grey eyes and hated it at that time. Indeed there are beautiful people all over the world. Doesn't really matter where they are from. And some people make up what they lack in looks with a great personality. It's just how you look at it. You can't define beauty. That's what makes it beautiful.

In the article it wasn't mentioned any of the girls had a heart condition. It more or less said they died from malnutrition a.k.a. starvation. So that was where I based by answer on. Maybe what I said came off as harsh and disrespectful, I did not mean it that way. It IS sad that they died, and it is sad that the industry influences them in such a way they feel the need to starve themselves Still, their fate was in their own hands and they knew very well that they could die from it. Even if it was a heartcondition they inherited, it had to be triggered by something. It could just as well be that their hearts reacted that strongly on their strict 'diets' while someone else would be able to go on somewhat longer. It's just that I can't really understand why the death of her sister didn't ring the alarm in her head. I mean, when you have an ED doesn't mean you've completely gone mad. For those who have an ED or have hadone, could you answer this: If your own sister dies from a heart attack which was most likely triggered by starvation, wouldn't that be a wake-up call for you? Wouldn't you think: "That could happen to me too if I don't watch out?" I mean, it's your life on the line. I think it's stupid she didn't take care of herself. I'm not saying recovery is easy, but she could've made the first steps in the right direction in those months after her older sister passed away. Then again, I don't really know what goes around in your head when you've got a severe case of anorexia, but still, there's gotta be a point when you realize you could lose more than just weight: your life. Right? Anyway, it's too late now. Let's just hope that this WILL BE a wakeupcall for other models, so that there won't be any horrible news like this to follow this up anytime soon.

What sense does it make to start complaining about it when it ALREADY HAPPENED? Frankly, (though I'm no B fan) I think it's good they picked someone else than the always PERFECT looking models. B is in good shape. No she's no athlete, fair enough, but neither are the models you preferred. They previously put Petra Nemcova o there among others? Great looking girl, but NO ATHLETE. No one was complaining though. And I can go on. But seriously: It's just a cover! I mean, there's nothing to be Outraged about. If you wanna be outraged about something, be outraged about the fact that every 3 seconds a child dies of diarrhea because there is no decent water. <_<

Hmm, beauty. Well, it's difficult. A symmetrical face with full lips, high cheekbones, defined eyebrows and sparkling eyes are some ingredients that contribute to a beatiful face. Not to mention clear skin and a head with thick, shiny hair. A body that is defined but not overdone, thin but not superskinny and proportionate could be ideal. That is beauty on the outside. But like others have mentioned, your personality contributes or actually works against your beauty. I have this blonde girl at my school and she's friggin gorgeous; blonde, perfect body, nice face. But she's such a stuck up that it takes away from her beauty. <_< On the other hand, I know a guy who isn't the most handsome waling around (quite avarage actually) but he has this great, funny and witty personality that makes you love him. So yeah it helps when you've got great features and a great body. But some personality would help too. I love Ana BB's appearance, but I don't like the way she always looks flushed and washed out on candids, like she's permanently drunk or something. Kinda takes away from her beauty. Adriana, similar thing. Hmm, one one hand I think it's great she tries to get out there and send a positive message to us brainwashed girls. But then on the other hand I'm kinda tired of the preaching. Sure I understand it's not nice to be called fat, but it's not like she'd never told anyone they needed to lose weight. And there was a time she suddenly lost a lot of weight really fast. The only way she could've lost that was the unhealthy way.

Here's a trick: after washing and condistioning it, comb your hair with your head upside down and then blowdry it that way. While blowdrying it, go through your hair with your hands serveral times to make it more wavy. When it's dry, fling back your hair and it looks really big and volumely. Then put in some stuff that'll make it shine and not appear so dry and put in some hairspray to make it stick. Voila, you've got Doutzen hair. One warning: don't try this if you've got bangs or short(er) hair. It'll make it look like you've just come out of a tornado. This only works if you've got shoulderlength (or longer) hair.
