Well, in my opinion It is very relative. This is true here in Spain values more the curvy Slim or Big model than the Slim or thin, but there are exceptions. It is true models discriminate between them too. Maybe they don't want druggers who are very thin because they don't eat, smoke and Drink a lot or take another toxic.
