September 23 Gossip Girl sweetheart Taylor Momsen successfully busts out a new look at the Metropolitan Opera’s 125th season opening night gala at the Lincoln Center Plaza on Monday in New York City. The 15-year-old actress looked glamorous from head to toe in a sweeping red Marchesa gown with tiered ruffles. Earlier in the day, Taylor was seen looking much edgier in casual wear–leather vest, rolled-up denim shorts and ankle booties. She sipped on some Red Bull and also munched on a muffin while strolling through the SoHo neighborhood of NYC.

The 5′ 8″ 15-year-old Gossip Girl star told reporters at the event that she doesn’t feel pressure to be skinny. “Not at all,” she said. “I mean, I’m just kind of naturally thin. My mom’s really thin, and I’m tall. Good genes… I just eat healthy. I walk a lot because I live in New York. So I try to walk a lot instead of taking cabs… I should probably start working out or something. I dance, so I guess that’s a full workout. I’ve been dancing since I was three, so I guess that would be it.”
