Mary-Kate has been dating New York artist Nate Lowman since the beginning of the year and is said to have been inspired to start a family by late actor, and close friend, Heath Ledger - who told her becoming a father was the most rewarding thing he had ever done. The source added: "Mary-Kate really took Heath's words to heart. She wanted the same kind of fulfilment in her life that Heath found in his after becoming a dad. "She is really happy with Nate and is very excited they will soon be starting their family together."

The ‘Changeling’ actress – who gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in July – is said to have announced her news when a waiter in a London restaurant tried to pour her a drink. It has also been claimed her partner Brad Pitt – who she raises six children with – was unhappy with her decision to go public with the pregnancy. American magazine In Touch Weekly – which revealed Angelina was expecting twins - is also claiming the 33-year-old actress has pushed forward filming of new movie ‘Edwin A. Salt’ to ensure her baby bump will not be visible. However, film sources have denied the schedule has changed. Angelina’s representative has also denied the reports, claiming rumors the star is expecting are “not true”. Both Angelina and Brad have spoken of their desire to add to their brood in recent weeks. Last week, Angelina said: “Anything could happen. We're open to anything, we love kids and we're having a great time. It's chaos in our house, but it's so much fun. We'll definitely have more.” She also gave a glowing report of Brad’s skills as a father, revealing: “He's the best daddy and we have fun, so whenever it gets hard we can just look at each other and find a way to laugh about and just appreciate that they're only little once, and we should enjoy every minute.” Appearing on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ recently, Brad admitted the couple would “probably have more children”, adding: “It's the greatest endeavor I've ever taken on. Why stop now?”

The 43-year-old actress recently told MTV that she and writer/director Michael Patrick King have discussed many potential stories for a sequel to the Sex and the City movie. SJP shared, “[Motherhood] doesn’t seem as if that’s going to be a choice she’ll make. It feels a little bit manipulative to toss that into the mix because she seems so pointed in a different direction.” Asked if the reports of a potential shoot next summer are true and SJP confirmed, “I think it’s a realistic timetable. That’s when we’d start shooting to be out in 2010. But that means we need to figure this out in the next couple of months.”

Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively works the red carpet at the NYC premiere of Australia at Ziegfeld Theater on Monday. The 21-year-old star’s on-and-off-screen boyfriend Penn Badgley skipped out on the red carpet but joined Blake inside the theater. The couple grabbed complimentary bottles of water and bags of popcorn to munch on during the movie.
