The cast seems really good. Jill is Sidney's cousin. So she is the new survivor girl. It follows Sidney's return to Woodsboro to promote her new self help book and of course the killings start up again.

I am more biased towards her for that reason also. Just as I am for girls like Catherine, Abbey etc. We love girls who come from our homes more and wish them more luck in their careers. In terms of here in Aus she is a major supermodel. Everyone knows who she is. But i'm sure she has built up a fan base internationaly also.

Yes exactly. That is why I see her at a different level. She also has a book out and her own skin care line. She is doing things and using her name as a brand. It might not be heaps compared to other models. But she is still working it And do not get me started on the Actresses and Celebs getting everything. I appreciate it here and there but why do they have to be in everything now. I just don't get it. This is why there are no supermodels. Because all the major work is going to celebs. Look at Vogue US. Was Gisele the last model to get a cover on her own? If they put models on the cover they are only in group shots. Compared to before when models would be on every cover. It's kind of why I appreciate the Vogue Italy and Paris more because they still have models on the covers a lot of the time. And companies like VS and Maybeline. They use models only. I had that respect for SI until they gave Beyonce the cover that year and started doing Sports Wives.

Haha yeah true. Back to VS. Any news today. It looks like Oc 20th and on we are going to start to see more and more things from VS. Probably more news for the show. And the catalogues and images will start coming out on the website. I'm excited

It's sad but true. Model names just aren't important to people anymore. Being a model isn't some big thing like it used to be. All people care about is celebrity now. In all seriousness i'd say if you asked a person who a Supermodel is. They will say Naomi or Gisele. That's the main names that comes to peoples heads. Some people might be able to get other names out there. But the general public don't know or don't care about models. Like we all do

So her getting any major push is good to me Like Lost says I see it in this order Adriana Alessandra Miranda Doutzen Candice Rosie Then i'd say Erin, Chanel, Lily And I still kind of don't know where Behati sits with VS. Too me she is still just the Pink girl. But that's mainly cause they don't use her for anything else.

No doubt Candice has major appeal. I do think her time is coming. Not sure when though. It will take time. I mainly see Miranda, Doutzen and Rosie being the next major focus girls. Miranda has the celeb marriage and baby on the way. As does Doutzen with the baby. So i'm sure they will get the same treatment Ale and Adriana had on their pregnancy returns. Plus right now Miranda is a hot commodity. It might now seem like major but she has been doing a bit of HF here and making a name for herself in the industry. She has all the makings of a top model. Rosie next year has Transformers. So that is gonna be major press for her. Everyone will know her name if they don't already because of it. I see it being like that plus Candice. Not sure much on where Chanel, Erin, Lily or Behati fit into it. Lily has the rocker bf. So we will see who are the next major pushes.

^^I get what you mean. And if I was to choose I would do the same. Buy I guess they have their own system. Sometimes flawed. To be honest If I were running VS I would do so many things differently to how they do it now lol.

But KK got it twice without being a contract angel? I understand your reasoning, but I find it odd they would give it to the non-contracted KK on two occasions and not consider Swanepoel for the same "honor" after almost over-emphasizing her in all of their media for the better part of a year. Although perhaps that is the reason, the fact that they already invested too much attention into the South-African? KK got it in 2006 while she was an Angel And I guess what Lost says is true. That Candice right now is where Adriana and Alessandra were when Tyra, Heidi and Gisele were still the tops. I remember Alessandra and Adriana being everywhere constantly. Just like Candice is now. They are obviously grooming her for that top spot. One day lol.

I think it does have to do with seniority a bit. And Adriana is their biggest name. She is coming back from her pregnancy and now Heidi is out she is the head angel. So the FB to her was kind of obvious. A big way to bring her back for the show. VS are really pushing Candice heaps. But as of right now she still isn't a big enough name with them yet. So before they can just throw her the FB they need to get her name out a bit more. Weird because KK had it in 02 and she wasn't even an Angel. Maybe also cause they wanted the FB to be for an actual contract Angel. And right now the only official Angels are Adriana, Alessandra, Doutzen and Miranda. Two of them are out pregnant. So it was just between Alessandra and Adriana. Alessandra should have got it IMO. But it will be more effective with Adriana. If that makes sense.

Eghh that song was terrible. And Akon's voice drives me nuts. I don't mind Firework. I hope that they are just singing in their own segments like Sting and Mary J used too. I hope that the girls just get to walk to good pumping music. I'm over performers + vs models.

Hmmmm the term 'Supermodel' gets thrown around a lot here and there nowadays. I say as of right now the top supermodels IMO are Gisele Bundchen, Karolina Kurkova, Miranda Kerr and Lara Stone. KK, Miranda and Gisele all have had VS + HF. They have been in the public eye because of movies, relationships, pregnancies etc. But are mainly known for their modelling. Miranda is Australia's biggest person out there right now. Sure there are celebs like Hugh, Cate and Sam. But she is everywhere and everyone kows who she is here. And more and more people around the world know who she is. To me right now she is a true Supermodel. Lara might not have that world wide fame yet. But she is definately everywhere in the Fashion World. I see her as another definite Supermodel. And I do believe more and more people are beginning to know who she is. There are plenty of other amazing models. Like Adriana, Alessandra, Angela, Coco, Raquel etc but they still don't seem to have it all. Sure a lot of people know who Adriana and Alessandra are. But still you can ask most people and they won't know who they are. Maybe the same with KK. But you say Gisele or Miranda. People know who you are talking about instantly. Naomi is still considered a Supermodel. I don't think she has ever really retired lol. Same for the top supermodels like Christy, Eva, Linda, Helena.

So we have a month until the show films. Very exciting. It feels so close. Ususally leading up to the show the wait feels forever. But for some reason everything is coming so quick. Maybe cause also we hear so much stuff before hand and now we have very little. All we know is Adriana is wearing the FB. The show is in NY and Katy Perry is performing. Adriana, Chanel, Rosie, Candice & Erin are confirmed. I'm presuming Alessandra is also a for sure. Even though there has been very little of her lately. I think Selita also tweeted something about being excited for the show. So she is also a definite. And I reckon Lily A is most likely a definite also. I'm excited. I like that there has been very little news and stuff. Makes it seem more mysterious. I am hoping the show this year will not disappoint.

Better looks at some of the VSFS2010 outfits. I like them all. Look great, sleek and sexy. I'm digging the silver/white one.

It was time for her to finish with the company. She went out with a bang last year. I am hoping Miranda and Doutzen present the show this year. That way we still get to see them.

My friend has a nikon d90 And from what i've seen her captures are amazing I love my Canon though so i'm sticking with it. The 550D is very good. Still learning how to use it and get the hang of it but all in all I love it.
