It may come as a surprise to you that that talking to someone via text over the internet isn't as engaging and emotionally possible as it is talking to someone in person. That may answer all the questions and issues you presented in your original post. Try chatting to some in person.

I'm responding to the OP's second post. Just because he doesn't want to open up to you, doesn't mean he doesn't talk about his feelings and emotions. Same goes for all guys. Obviously if he was a boyfriend or something, then clearly there's some other issues that should be addressed. Guys can and do cry, but they usually don't get as upset about certain issues as females do. I also disagree with red_ed in his statement's: "Society just doesn't cater for men that need to express their emotions." and "when we talk its only ever about how drunk we got the other night, or how good that girl at the end of the bar looks naked" That's from the perspective of a stereotypical male, and you're being far to broad and generalizing.

I don't think so. You can be naturally thin or fit, but you have to work hard to have abs and muscles. I wasn't really talking so much about being toned as much as I was getting at how slim they are and how perfectly shaped the silhouette is. Of course, ya, you gotta put in the effort if you want to have toned abs and such.
