^ Aye, but Audrina Patridge is just ridiculously hot. Has a nicer body then Alessandra Ambrosio easily.
  2. I totally called it! Toobs was off on a tangent! I totally called it!
  3. this thread is so lol

Good points on the first three lines, and I agree. Beyond that, I just got lost as to what you were even trying to say, and amongst poor punctuation that made it even more difficult to make sense of.
  5. I have to say, from those VS pics on I think it was page 118, Flavia has the sexiest pair of legs I've seen on a woman in a while. Probably nicer than Alessandra's.

If by 'change' you only mean colour, then you're at a bit of a stalemate. Otherwise, just change the style or how you have it usually; get it cut in a different way - be bold!
  7. you live in the states? lol wow.

This is just my own personal opinion on the shoes... They might be "comfortable" as people and it doesn't matter if you wear them in your own house if you wanted but there's far too many people out there who make these shoes look like they are wearing Donald Duck's beak as their foot when they are going out. This shoe was first invented for gardeners, nobody made these shoes to pair with a dress to go out with :| With that statement said they look ridiculous and tasteless when they are paired that way pain over comfort in this case for me ohh, people wear them with dresses? wtf. I can see how that'd look really ridiculous, but on their own they look okay to me. Sure, the shape looks a tad stupid too, but still... don't think they're as bad as some people would have me believe.
  9. As I know it, WinZip handles most compression and archival file types, the most commonly used being .zip - WinRar handles everything WinZip handles, plus the format called .rar, most of the files you'll see around or will download will either be .zip or .rar, so really, it makes more sense to get WinRar. Yeah it's what I meant : ) you don't have Core architecture, you have an Intel chip set. These run a lot hotter as standard than Core chips.

    WHAT'S wrong with those shoes?
  11. From my own experience with SpeedFan, those burning flame icons are no cause for concern. I think they trigger based on your target temp anyway, so you could set your target temp to 4 degrees celcious, and thus it'd always show that icon. Never the less, 84C does seem rather hot for a CPU. If it's a CPU with Core architecture (I'm guessing it's probably not) but try CoreTemp: http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ it's more accurate. Your monitor issue sounds more like a video card problem; video cards usually run hotter than all other components, even when they're idle.

  13. That's probably because when you install new apps you just clicks "yes" at each step, or just choose the automatic installation rather than the custom/manual one. This installs a lot of launchers, configuration ultilities and other apps that load at start up and then continue to run in the background, unnecessarily tying up resources. You probably also have a bunch of system services that you could disable.

I hate version 3. It's awful and horrid. Version 2 is so much better.

This is so wrong and so not true. People's looks fade.. you mean we get older. You get older too, so this is less of an issue. I bet if you asked someone who had been with their partner for years and they were, say 70, if you asked them if they still think their partner is physically attractive, they'd probably say yes. Now, sure, compared to a 26-year-old model or something, they'd probably have less of an appeal. But the point is that you grow up with them too, so you don't notice it as much. Personality doesn't always remain, to suggest as much is rather narrow-minded. People's personality can change quite a lot. Perhaps not from day to day or week to week. I sometimes meet high school friends I haven't seen in just a year and they've changed a lot personality-wise. Different interests, different way of thinking or even speaking in some cases - different likes and dislikes. Personality will change over time as well. I think we need to get past these sweeping generalizations and cliché stereotypes -- that, to be hot is almost all the time to be superficial, and to be average looking or quite normal in looks is to be intelligent, understanding, funny and profound. That's always how people tip the scales. Of course, then it makes personality seem the more important. Why does it always have to be presented as an 'either, or' as well? Why can't both be equally important?
  17. Wow, that's REALLY nice. I'm not a girl, but I reckon that'd look particularly nice on a tall girl. Not too much design in it which makes it less risky, but it's simple and sexy. I say go for it.

Why are you calling me a smart ass? I didn't suggest or think that you were offended. I didn't come up with anything like somebody was hut or you were pointing at me. What I did do, or what I tried to do was to highlight why I, in your eyes, misunderstood your initial post that TooBoku and I responded to. Why are you telling me to chill out? In that previous post, I wasn't being defensive or disagreeable. There were no exclamation marks, bold or capital letters, or emotions or text emotions of negativity. I am not charged up or mad. I am perfectly chilled, calm and composed when I wrote that. I was just explaining to you how your post reads and using this to point out why you think I might have misunderstood it. No need to go around calling me a smart ass when I was just trying to point something out to you.

haha, right on. The problem with girls is that all they have to say about other girls is nice things (with regards to what they wear or how they look). Whilst this is nice, it's also a little ill-advised. When a girl is wearing something or has adopted a style that clearly doesn't suit her, rather than being honest her friends just bombard her with complements in an attempt to sustain or boost confidence. In my view, it's best to be, and always has been a practice of mine to be honest rather than being rude, and I think you can be honest without being rude and objectionable.

If I misunderstood, it was entirely your fault. First off, you started by saying: Two contradicting statements right there. You continue... Here, you indicate, or you did a fantastic (no sarcasm) job of indicating that the issue for you was that you wanted to lose weight by reducing your waistline but you were also losing your ass and breasts. Before you mention this, you highlight the very reason you're going the wrong way about reducing your waistline. It reads entirely like you were not eating to lose weight. I know you mentioned you were not hungry, but its not healthy to have nothing all day except a measly portion of lunch and apple juice, simply because you're not hungry.
  21. haha, a year ago to the day or even week ect I would have been willing to take you up on this debate... and won! Haha, the fact of the matter is that I haven't checked or followed anything that's out on the component market since Jan 2008. I used to check Tom's Hardware, Hard OCP and AnandTech on a daily basis, then I just lost interest, or at least that obsessive interest. I just have no idea what's out there now. It's also hard to keep up XD Though, I'm no Intel fanboy.
  22. rockTheSky replied to Daniela's post in a topic in Girl Talk
Haha, I would agree that it probably happens more in the girls. With guys it's probably more for show ect ect. With girls, well, every girl likes to think she's the prettiest. At least, a girl with confidence does. Especially with what they wear ect. What guys love is not having to constantly argue with girls and tell them they're not fat when they're clearly not. What's nice is to see girls, particularly ones you know, tucking into a nice, good sized meal without any talk about getting fat ect.
  23. rockTheSky replied to Liliana's post in a topic in Girl Talk
I understand the message you're trying to get across here; confidence. However, the way it reads is sort of like saying the only thing that matters in fashion is inner beauty. If you want to lose weight you're ultimately going to be burning fat before you're growing serious muscle. Monitoring weight is sort of key to recognizing how far you've come and is an effective way of setting targets and realizing success, or lack there of. So I don't think it should really be dubbed as a "stupid scale".
