Most definitely - I'd go so far as to say they're my favourite band of all time (along with Nirvana). I've been lucky enough to see all three of Jack's bands live and I'd wholeheartedly recommend any of them!

Oh, sounds good - which societies did you join? I remember going to the fair-type thing where you join up for them. They were all really obscure ones like the Star Trek society :D Are you getting your bearings in Manchester yet?

Oh, definitely The White Stripes, but I'm such a nerd for Jack that I loved them all. Dead Weather was just after the first album came out so it was a little short - I'd love the chance to see them again. The Raconteurs I can kind of take or leave on record, but they're all such great musicians that it still made for a good show. Do you get many bands playing in your neck of the woods?

I'm from Sunderland in northeast of England, where unfortunately we don't usually get a great deal of sun. You can always tell when the weather's nice by the sound of lawnmowers in the distance. :D Whereabouts are you from? :)

I know what you mean, I was in London recently and money doesn't stretch very far down there either. It's a shame to deny yourself something you want because of the cost though, especially if it's a one-off purchase! :)

I'm going on the 4th of December, so only another month left - I can't wait either! I'll report back to you afterwards since you're going a few days after :D We haven't had any snow here yet either, but apparently there might be some on the way. With being right on the coast we only get it for a couple of days each year :(
