I just went to a consultation at Tru Talent Management yesterday and they want to sign me up for modeling and acting. The didn't ask for any money, but they said I need to start building my portfolio (which I expected), but is it normal for clients to pay for their own pictures to have done, or are the modeling agencies supposed to do that? Keep in mind it is a smaller agency. The reason I ask is because I know that's how a lot of agencies make their money, so I don't want to get screwed. The agent I spoke to said that the agency has a photographer I can use, but for pictures, hair and makeup, they charge $1500, but it's for lifetime pictures. That means that they take the pictures for the portfolio for $1500 plus copyright fees for the pics ($40/pic), but they don't charge anything after that for the follow up pics (except for the $40 copyright fee) that I need to take every 6 months. My brother-in-law knows a really good photographer that will do it for a few hundred dollars, but I will have to get more information from him because I don't want to spend that every six months for my follow up pictures or I might as well go with the agency's photographer. What do you guys think I should do? -

As far as piercings go, I only have my ears pierced (one in each ear). I have four tattoos (sorry for the crappy photo quality): this wolf is on my left shoulder blade: Psylocke is on my left calf muscle: The tribal hibiscus is on my right ankle: The two dragons are wrapped around my left arm: No plans of getting anymore though.

That's exactly how I felt, with the exception of two songs, but like you said, it grows on you. I really liked their first album, so I was expecting the same sound, but I guess a lot of groups that are similar are going towards the same kind of sound now. The second one is pretty good once you get over the fact that it's different though. It kind of gets you in a peppy mood. I also love Paramore as well. I just bought their song "Misery Business" after listening to the song "crushcrushcrush" and liking it. I'll eventually get the whole album when I get more money.

I'm happy for Marisa Miller. She is one of my favorite models, not just because of her looks, but she has a cool personality as well, but I'm surprised Adriana didn't get on the list after her recent GQ cover and I'm not sure how far back in they go as far as work goes, but also her hosting the Superbowl party, not to mention the Superbowl commercial .

She likes Michael Turner! That's awesome. He's one of my favorite artists too. I think that's cool when a kick ass girl like her can admit publicly to being a comic book nerd and it sounds like it's for real too and not like she is just saying it because comic book movies are popular right now.
