It's not Dominique Issermann for American Elle but Gille Bensimon and the pics 5 & 9 are from DS magazine June 1997 by Marc Hispard and pic 6 is for Victoria's Secret.

About the yellow dress, it is the typical style of the Cosmopolitan cover in September 1999 in Portuguesealso published in orange in Cosmo Spain in November 1999. It was also published in blue in Cosmo Argentina in February 2000 I wonder which one was the original photo. It's American Cosmo the original. All the cosmopolitan covers with Laetitia are originally from cosmo US (except 2 or 3 French ones when she started modeling) The original dress is red if i remember well and i am not even sure it was a cover, more like a picture inside the magazine. welcome to BZ

Not that looking like a Vargas girl is a bad thing, no? I'm just grooving on the hugeness and beauty of her boobs in that shot. It's not the only body type I like or even my favorite type, but it's good to see something like that once in a while. It's a real good thing.
Totally agree with you Pretty but fashion is always to try to do something new with old things. They could use Kate to do many new wonderful things but they just take the easy route. Blond, curves and tits? Year let's do a MM shoot. And it's clearly what they did. Kate is not looking like Marilyn and is not trying to look like her. That's not Kate trying to be MM but only fashion editors with zero imagination. People with a bit of knowledge about the "old Hollywood" and the actress before Marilyn can see other things then a "Marilyn copycat" but as Miss LimaVzla said I personally thing the cover looks like Alberto Vargas work or Aslan's pin-ups drawings.
It is 100% inspired by Marilyn -the swimsuit and the dark dress inside- but there is nothing wrong with that. I did not read the article yet but I think people at VF sniffed too much hairspray during the shoot and they totally forgot Marilyn was the inspiration. And Jessica Rabbit & Rita Hayworth. Yes Marilyn is clearly not the inspiration... Brain fart VF team?
