I can't stand Emily, I think she's easily the most overrated model out there, a shitty actress with an even less likeable personality, and an even more dislikeable face that has seen too much botox and fillers and I would vote probably for anyone over her. THIS. The same can be said about Gisele, Karolina, Isabeli, Miranda or Doutzen. These women had careers and were icons before social media ever existed, by the time instagram was a thing, designers, brands, casting directors and everyone already knew them and had made up their minds about them, and general people had already been exposed to them a decided if they liked them or not. If they chose to not have any social media at all it probably wouldn't change a thing in their careers because they have already have established themselves, their careers won't grow or decrease in a big way due to social media unless they do something extremely fucked up, this is why you don't see these women posting ads and partnering with brands all the time in their social media, they simply don't need to, the odds are these women haven't been to a casting call for a show/editorial in years, yet we keep seeing them and people in their own lanes still know them and like them. They use social media to promote their own brands or support causes or share about their lives, not because they need it to stay relevant and book jobs like younger girls do, which is also why they have less curated profiles, with Miranda being the exception because she is using it all to push Kora. Like I am annoyed as hell by a lot of what Adriana posts, particularly in her stories, but I am also aware that it's not damaging to her career either so she's probably gonna keep doing it and Imma have to just suck it up and try to ignore it lol.

Hannah won't win forever of course, and once her time as #1 is over I think it's very unlikely that any other girl will have as much dominance IMO and we may start seeing the top girl change more often. But in the meantime, she keeps winning because people keep voting for her so I don't think anyone will get bored, especially because all the other places keep changing all the time and there's new models being introduced every month which keeps it fresh and fun. I think the main thing tho is that Doutzen's post was just really really bad, people are literally dying from the virus and homegirl was like "ThaNk YoU coRoNa!" coming from her very obviously privilege, there is no black or white here, she fucked it up. Literally it's just wrong, no one will be on her side with this one. Adriana on the other hand just expressed her opinion on Bolsonaro and the whole vaccine thing wasn't like full-on anti-vax,I still think that post was a mistake but she wasn't telling people to not get vaccines because they cause autism or some dumb shit like that. I don't know what she's said about abortion and that is one very very touchy subject that will divide people, same as Bolsonaro or any other thing, it's more of a gray area and you will have people who agree with you and people who don't and celebrities are allowed to express their opinion, I do think that because of their platform they need to be really well informed before they say something, that is how you avoid pulling a Doutzen. If anything I think the reason why Adriana could be losing followers is because of all the Gemini, spiritual, things she posts all the fucking time. I've been a huge fan of Adriana for years but I've come close to unfollowing many times because I find it to be very dull, boring and I believe in none of that crap lol

She should NOT be silent about political issues, she is allowed to express her opinion just like everybody else and use her platform for whatever she believes in. The vaccines thing was fucked up but I am super proud of her for speaking up about the situation in Brazil, Bolsonaro is 100% a fucking up her country and it is not getting enough media attention. Honestly people these days are too sensitive and get offended over every little thing they disagree with, which is just stupid but that shouldn't mean Adriana doesn't get to say how she feels like regarding certain issues.
